ahhh now i know what it is basically the car was dirty then it rained with it on the car the newmaterial bled and mixed witht he dirt then the sun baked it on this is my guess but it should come off pretty easy i had that problem too when covering my car the first couple of times once you said the windows i rememberd the pain in the !Removed! it was to remove it sometimes

the qway the es tranny's are go and rent something it won't take the stress for very long

just a stupid question but if you can't find the filler neck did you remove any transmission fluid? if so then that is your problem the filler for the tranny is the check level neck remove the dipstick and then pour it in you may have multiple problems don't know where to start but look for any unplugged sensors like the one on the intake hose from the air filter box to the intake manifold

my drop in filter made no difference in gas mileage but i usually always aired out the filter once a month with compressed air anyway but i was more or less only getting it or a performance improvment

i am not sire why it would scratch it i have a cover and i used it or years it is a blue one that is breathable made of some 3m material i have found the car has to be clean before using the cover or it will scratch the finish as the cover rubs the dirt against the paint also remeber to always use the same side down as this keeps one side more dirty than the other can you explain more on what the scratches are like?

my simple answer is do a search it has already been answered more than a few times

i agree just pull up the the rear bench it has 3 clips at the front no screws or bolts for the bottom part you might even want to remoe the leather by undoing the hog pins and clean the padding as well

there is always a way i agree the engnie s the same as is the engine compartment only slight differences if any the problem is getting the right bend in the inside of the fender pretty much why i only do them with the car

even with a power washer it leaves debis and dirt on the surface the reason why it can never clean a car properly unless it is washed with soap and a mitt or cloth to remove therain and dirt marks form driving

i know the pipes i don't like them use them or sell them just a quick way to do it but not properly they crimp on corners and bends causing a reduction in flow

october 14 th 75 welcome fellow libra the oil might loosen the paint if it is cracked already and it would just soften up the leather that is holding the paint causing it to fall off if cracked already not sure on the fog ligths on the 2000 ask mcv 20 he plays with his alot hey it does smell like cookies doesn't it besides look at the pic of me in the gallery i am the slightly overweight guy what do you expect me to say it smells like coolant lmao

^^^ what he said do not under wipe the car with out it being cleaned first it will scratch the paint especially black and fill it with hairline scratches i prefer to use a power washer when i am to lazy to wash it i use the soap rinse , then use the rinse spray it works great for in bettween wahing

i have the same problem with my climate control but rpessing it in jjust the right spot brings it back it is basiccally a bad connection

yup you have the dash light hooked up to the constant 12v need a straight one preferable from the battery

i had a custom pipe shop make the aluminum pipe so it would be a madrel bent one not an exhaust bender which creates creases and folds causing disortion in the air stream

i had my window done once by lexus and tey screwed it up even worse it seems no one ever gets them done or atleast at the dealer also they charged by the time used not a standard price and yes do not close the door using the window i use meguires tire endurance on the gaskets around the doors upper and lower and trunk and sunroof basically anywhere air can get in or out it make a major difference in taking up the slack left in it i also say the engien mounts are suspect for the vibration

first what are you using to lube the ant wd 40?" try white grease it works much better also mine also clicks but it is normal it is only the mast retracting into each other then a few clicks when it is fully in to make sure of it all the ants on toyota s do the same

too me the co coa butter smells like fresh baked cookies i like it and it is a bit storng for a day but with the amount i use i am not suprised the oil sounds like it would work amazing as it can soak in real good but i think it may start to remove some of the colour pigments as the seats are more of a painted on dye rather than a softer leather dye which can cause the paint to loosen off the leather which is why lexus seats are so hard

o either of you use your parking brake? try it and it may work the problem might be in the intake pipe looks like a big accordian if it has a rip the maf sensor reads wrong and gets out of wack if there is tension on the engine from the tranny being in park it will cause the tear to be open once it goes into neutral it can start as the engine is now in normal position check the pipe for leaks nd use the brake also the engine mounts may be suspect for causing the problem in the first place do with cars have any other acceleration problems? or just starting

mods are assigned according to knowledge on a certain platform and experiance with lexus models in general and being able to check the site daily at the least just hold tight and your designated name will change with post #'s besides do you really want to be know as the clubs worst speller :D

the mcv 20 chasiss is the same camry and es 300 ont the v6 platform 97-01 they fit perfectly no difference at all the struts are designed differently for each car for hanling dynamics though

actually marcel i do indeed have one on my 94 and i made it myself it is the 4th design that i have made now i also make them locally but i do them custom for each specific car not really an export set up so there are a few es 300's with a cai in Toronto also don't waste your time with a ram air it is useless and wastes gas to top it off it only sounds nice

the 99 has the old style multiple light altezza style the newer i think 01 and up has just 2 per side with a strip for the turn signal no one make aftermarket ones
