  1. Thanks. Going to each window and running a cycle of up and down and holding the button a few seconds longer after it is all the way up worked. r, eagle-7
  2. Hi, The battery on my wife's 07 RX350 was replaced in late November. She was advised to drive it regularly so as not to run it down due to inactivity. Knowing she'd be out of town for a month, we figured we'd just disconnect the battery like we'd done with our other cars. (Negative post was disconnected) She connected the battery today and it started just fine. She had to reset the seats, radio, steering column, etc. She noticed that the only the driver side window goes up and down. None of the other three windows work. She hasn't checked the moonroof. She also noticed that when you turn off the car, it sounds almost like a jet engine that whines/winds down vs. a simple quick engine cutoff. Questions: - Is there a reset for the windows? - Is the whining wind down sound the engine makes upon turning it off require some sort of a "reset" also? Done by the dealer perhaps? Your help would be appreciated. Thanks, eagle-7
  3. I've had our RX300 exclusively maintained by Toyota. When it needed the transmission replaced, I took it to Lexus and they honored the fact that it was maintained by a Toyota dealership. Thanks, eagle
  4. Thanks lenore. :) I went ahead and did the "Buy Now" for the struts. About $66 bucks for the pair. I'll let you know how the installation goes. r, eagle
  5. Thanks lenore! Is the installation simple? Do you simply remove the bolts on the existing strut and then install the new strut using the oem bolts? r, eagle
  6. Thanks Twin Turbo. I'm trying to see if I can find the part from an auto parts store. It doesn't seem complicated to replace. Any suggestions on vendors who might have the part? Thanks, eagle
  7. Hi, Left trunk strut of our 2000 RX300 just failed. Anyone know how much to replace it? Would it matter if I take it to Toyota? Cost difference? Your help would be appreciated. Thanks, eagle
  8. I actually downloaded the operating manual for the garage door opener. With that info, the vehicle manual, plus the info here, I was able to get it done right at my very first try. Cool! Thanks.
  9. Hi, I have a Liftmaster 1/2 hp garage door opener with rolling code feature. I tried the suggestion here to press the garage door opener remote button and the homelink button together, then press the Learn button on the garage door opener overhead unit, then push the homelink button again. It worked! Thanks.
  10. They're saving the major refresh for 09 I guess. So, just enough to make it slightly visually different from the 07. Saves money too I suppose.
  11. If you have the dealer install it, the cost would have been at least $350. Yikes! r, eagle
  12. Hi nowstime, It all depends on how honest the seller is on eBay I suppose. Thanks, eagle
  13. Yes, it's very easy. Just follow the instructions which is very easy to follow and lots of diagrams to guide you. I just installed it on my wife's new RX350. No problems. Regarding performance? They are short mudguards, so don't expect them to catch most of the spray or items kicked up by the tires. But you know what? Every little bit helps, right? If it prevents a huge gash on the side panel by a single stone or rock, then it's well worth it to me. Ask your saleperson to buy it for you from their parts dept. They can get it at their employee price. I paid $85 for ours. I also bought the Lexus floor mats (heavy duty) and rear floor liner. Much cheaper than online, no shipping costs, and no wait. r, eagle
  14. Hi, Since the RX330 and RX350 are pretty much the same, I thought I'd post this question here also. Hope you don't mind. We need to temporarily remove the RX350 rear spoiler to install a sign/graphic on the window. Removing the spoiler would help simplify installation of the full window graphic. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, eagle-7
