  2. its funny when i warn people to not buy a 92-93 because of the iron blocks they say the car is great. But look how many people have the exact same overheating problem time and time again, which the 94 and up ES does not have at all.

  9. Welcome to the club. Here is a thought on the top of this section you may or may not have noticed a topic called FAQ . It is very handy ,as i have spent well over 6 hours writing it.You might find it answers many of your questions.
  10. I don;t own stock. But i know if a tech screws somethnig up they will have to fix it ,even if it isn't technically there fault. You have aluminum heads which strip easy .But you will never see the damage on a plug as it is a harder metal , neither will looking at the threads on the head. Basically it sounds as though when you where removing the plug you did not keep the extension perfectly inline as when you started to remove it which caused the plug to bind in the head without destroying the threads. It is hard to do but once done properly it is easily over come . Would you rather pay for a plug change or a new head?
  11. it is about an hour a seat to adda heater and about 100 a set or cheaper it is only a heating pad just like a normal one you buy and goes under the leather by removing the hog pins and pulling back the leather to put them in.

  14. the best ever was 900km on one tank of gas premium of course in a 94 es all highway no stopping
  15. this same question is part of one of the pinned topics
  16. it is crap to waste $2- ON it but it will work it make the fuel injectors put out more ,so it uses more gas all the time the only waste is that it is not tuned for the car and not variable like a greddy one or a apexi vafc 2 which are much better as they are variable and only when needed,it works but needs to be tuned so they are not that stupid ,just wasting 20 for a 5 cent part.
  17. some people have had soem porblems with mccolough kits burning the ballasts.
  18. lots of answers in other posts( like the faq) for the normal problem of the dash the manual is offered for free also
  19. you probably have something sticky caught on the tracks for it.clean them with wd 40 and a q tip
  20. there should be a hose on the coolant cap to let it suck the bottom of the tank not the top. I think that is your problem .If it is missing it will cause the eninge to suck air in and get large amounts in which will not cool and cause hot pockets. start the car cold one day . Open the rad cap and let the engine idle for a while ,as the level on the engine goes down ,add toyota red coolant to help burp the system of air .Then buy a new peice of hose and attach it to the coolant cap
