If the lexus dealer sold the car to you then you have no problem, if another dealer did tehn go to a lawyer with your contract as well as contacting your dmv. You should have checked the car out before buying it at a lexus dealer to leave the liability on someone else.

I didn;t think they changed the rotors ,maybe the book only went up to 02 and tehy need an updated one.

It is less than an hours work to replace Your cat is seperate from the y-pipe so it should be cheaper. I payed about $250 for an OEM lexus peice a few years ago when i replaced mine. Before replacing it see if you need a new dogbone mount first ,this will keep you from buying another y-pipe faster than needed. It should only be $50-80 for labour. First what is the problem with the brakes. you said what side is good but not what is wrong? Second the shop must have used a blunt force like a hammer on a sensative area( which is the hub) around the sensor to remove the bearing bolt or push it out of the hub bearings.

because the large majority of the consumers out there take things for granted, are misinfomred or just do not know. My father used to teach a course in highschool. He called it "Automotive Survival" It was a course geared for the average teenager to help them understand the basics of how the car operates and the basics the owner needs to do to keep it operating efficiently. Almost every kid wanted to take it. Wow a warr engine in a 10 year old car, now that is nice. It usually looks like cap under the filler cap as it is a splash sheild built intot hte head so you can add oil while the engine is running . So it collects thin layers of oil their and bakes it one as it isn;t in the flow of oil to be washed or cleaned. I know of one moron who was under the stupist assumption that toyota put it their as a specially coating and it was not to be removed. Some people really smoke good stuff.

sounds like the contacts are dirty and you cleaned them slightly by replacing the bulbs
