To me the key is to find someone who knows paint and how it should look. I see cleints cars all the time who think their car was repaired flawlessly until i inspect it and tell them they have to repaint the damage as it has lots of flaws I see.

agree on both points The RX looks the same on the outside but the internals of its drivetrain is completly different. The extrior and interior are the same and since when do they break. Might just need a sub forum under the RX forum

If you have an airbag light you need to know the code. If it doesn;t come off you obviously have a problem that needs to be fixed. A relay for the airbag system? I am not sure what that would even do if you did find one which i don't think it does.

No , sorry i must have been misunderstood. PUT THE LEXUS in the garage. Insurance can replace the civic of any year and any conditino in a day. A good well maintained lexus can never be found easily without alot of searching especially as you go older. You can't replace a well cared for vintage.

I smoke and can;t stand a car or anywhere that reeks of smoke. I never use ashtrays it only makes the car stink. Like eveyone suggested take it to get detailed by a good shop, My guy removes all the seats to steam clean all the carpets. I did my civic on friday and man what a difference to remove the winter salts stains in my winter beater. I got a little crazy when he took out the seats, so while he cleaned them i poped out the center console ad pulled up the carpet. Wow what a mess the under pads where soaked and roten smelling ( it is 15 years old). I bought new under pad from a carpet store for $5 and dropped it in after cleaning the floor. Now the car smells cleaner but the previous owner had a dog as well as smoked in thr car,so now it smells a bit like wet dog .I also bought an ionic air purifier for $20 it works good to remove smells but has an odd smell like an operatory. If you hate hospitals then this would not be a good thing to get.

The ML has had quite a bit of a waiting list until delivered to dealers 3 weeks ago. It is a vast improvment over the prevous lemon. I have to say Alabama is no place to make a MB and the ML shows it. But to really be impartial you would need to compare the ML500 to the RX400h or the ML350 to the RX330.That would be much less biasied as they are totally different.
