  1. 215 should fit ok but it is too small for a rim that wide to be done safely.
  2. thanks for the update i am sure it will help more than a few later on if they search for it. The contacts can usually be changed for about $30 for the same results as the starter is easy to remove.
  3. 93 uses a cold start injector in the intake manifold ,it does get clogged and need cleaning from its infrequent use. Get a motorvac.
  4. can you fabricate metal brakets and weld ,if not the no.
  5. lmao ebay is so much fun
  6. It is a small bracket that sounds as though it needs to be tightened as it has tension built into it but is mislaigned and pulling. usually a simple fix unless it is bent then the whole peice needs replacing. It is only used to keep the door open and from swining all the way out.
  7. glad that you got it sorted
  8. Well the power to the headlights could never power the starter so it is more than likely in the low voltage cuircit. I would check inside the steering column or if it had a remote starter that scerwed up and was abandoned. Basically i feel the wiring from the stalk has shorted to the 12vdc starter wiring causing it to turn over.
  9. like i mentinoed in the PM ,need to offsets to get an idea.
  10. this section as posted on the top of it says "this section is to post how to's not ask for them" Besides i spent almost an hour before giving a detailed breakdown of how to remove it. Search and you can find it.
  11. i'll move this to the es forum as you will get no one answering it here but me. Removing the solenoid may not be as needed , if you drop the pan clean the screen and magnets then get an external filter as mentioned in many therad for cheap you can slowly let it clean itself.
  12. It is fine to add do you have air suspension?
  13. Did you clean the egr? When the distibuter was changed ,did that include the rotor and cap?
  14. Theyu make ML's in Alabama for North America. I am sure he would get a TUV spec not a DOT one, which is a really good thing.
  15. :) uh oh i am rubbing off on lexusfreak
  16. www.hidplanet.com
  17. use the search function also read the forum headers like this one has saying "Pinned: ****this Section Is To Post Tutorials*** ALREADY DONE FOR YOU TO READ,NOT ASK FOR"
  18. Maybe he is trying to imply that religious figures would only drive in a prestige vehicle like a Mercedes or maybe you need to pray really hard to keep it from breaking down on you. lmao
  19. Did you check the vortex forums? or pocketrocket? They have some really good guys who might alreayd know exactly what the problem is.
  20. By removing the ballst it becomes a cold air intake with a stock style filter. You can use the metal pipe instead of the rubber one for looks but it does heat soak the intake charge more. The maf is the sensor that attaches to the back of the stock airbox. It should be held between your metal pipe and filter. The wire to be cleaned is inside of it and tells the ecu how much air is being injested.
  21. You would need a larger alternaotr but a good start is to get a yellow top battery for low resistance and change all the ground and power wire to the battery chasiss and engine which will help greatly. My cap also helps greatly for peak bass notes which is also a good thing to have.
  22. What part are you talking about? No clue what a lower fence is. That black thing is a plastic plug that pops out but does not hold anything. It is used at the factory.
  23. Am i reading it right ,you turned the engine off (rpms at 0 ) and it still squeeled? If it stopped it would be a belt which is normal when it wears and either needs a new belt or to have the tension adjusted. It will usually only squeel under high drain form the alternator which is right after starting and it tries to recharge the battery.
  24. You need to open the door panel and realign the window glass with the adjusting/retaining bolts
