cv joints make the click you hear when they wear out from the rubber boots covering the joints.It lets dirt get in and wears it down badly so you need to replace them not replace the boots alone which are cheaper for parts but the same in labuor costs.
If it hesitates when turning they could be worn so badly they are binding so it might be a good idea to get them changed.
neither get the new t1rit replaced the t1s which is spectacular

it equals luxury in a entry level midsized sedan
You could throw all the money you want at an ES and it would never equal a Honda Civic (EF TO EK)bone stock for handling .
Or 1/10th of the money for performance upgrades mainly as it is the #1 platform for the aftermarket.

The platform is not in that segment for a reason, taking a soft chasiss and engine to extremes is not viable.
For $100 that is ridiculasly cheap if you can get it.

with all oem toyota parts gold plated and clear coated

The types of modifications mentioned are interesting but are more inline with a honda or another car with many more modifications with bolt ons.

ever changed your battery cables and grounds?
or make sure your alternator is always putting out 14.4 vdc .
Many times it doesn;t keep up the voltage once it gets hot causing the battery to not be fully charged when you shut it down.

It defintaly can work especially since it will cause lift and acheive decreased high speed drag but by the front end being lifted even slightly it reangles you alignment causing a reduction of steering feel.

Funny thing about that is the first time i did it 7 years ago my tranny failed under warranty.
More pressure also cause more heat, another problem the tranny if idled much.
BTW the a541e ( the reason for the # difference is the electronic computer control solenoid).
So it is pretty much the same thing except for shifting.
