RL is a 6 the LS is an 8 cylinder. Fwd and Rwd . what are you looking for in a car? I hate the older RL but that is according to my preference in cars. What exact years are you looking for in the price range you want in your area?

First , does the light on the eject button light up? When you press the button does it even attempt to make noise?

Or just put a dead fuse for the fuel pump or ecu and replace when needed. Or use a switch to one of those wires to save time of finding them.

Frequencies from the key is a noise that a human cannot hear. So can a cell phone acuratly recreate the exact same frequencie signiture? Just ask your self the one logically answer, how do you always know when someone is calling from a cell phone over a landline?

Unless you know how much it is going to fix before you buy them ,don;t do it. If he says it is one price,tell him to get them fixed for that price and you will include it in your buying price. BUT SHA i am sorry to tell you those rims will not fit your 98 ,you have a Big Brake caliper !. That is the determining factory for every rim you look at .So unless you get a set of spacers which are $100-150 then a few hundred to remove the hubs form the car and use a 5 ton press to press out and press in the new longer studs . Again the same thing with chrome , if used properly it can give some amazing results. If thrown on everything and anything then it better be a show car.I am not driving a car to get the most or any looks .So i do not want bling as it onlty attracts the dumbest of people who sparkly things look nice to .Those are the same people who tend to not have and want yours, i am not even going to get into that game again.I have chrome rims on my ES and i wish they were black for the stupid stares i get.

This is definatly one of the worst recommendations to help fix a car thread. 1. there is no conclusive evidence that a fuel filter is anywhere near a problem to think it is one now all of a sudden. Every car i own i dry the tank, i have never had to change a fuel filter once i buy a car and do not buy from any gas station that does not have automated pumps which would mean dated rusty holding tanks would be in use. 2.MAF sensors don't get carboned they get dirty.Again what can this part do to make a maf show smoke? You say smoke, now what did it smell like? Gas or burnt material? To me this is the only place to start in diagnoising a problem. If you start any car cold and shut it off and look in the intake you will ALWAYS see a swirl of mist which is unburnt gas . All gas at cold have a high cranking injection duration. So once an engine is shut off the valves open will cause the left overs to drift up. Without getting details giving people a best guess based on nothing is not going to help anyone. I doubt the dealer will clean it , as well i doubt they even know what/that there is a screen ,not a filter. If you have a loud whining sound then it is either at full pressure or a blockage.

It is all about personal preferance. I don't like anything over 20 inch rims on anything but trucks. I think rims are just like clothes, just because a man can wear pink if he wanted to does not mean they should.I personally hate seeing men in pink ,i have a deep rooted bias that pink belongs on women and homosexuals posing as women.Again just my personal feelings. In respects to 20's on an LS i love the right type of rim on the cars. To me they have to follow the same type of body lines and curve .This way the 2 styles of desgin flow together not completly stand out . They also have to follow the theme of the car meaning a set of racing inspired rims have no place on a pure luxury car. 90% of rims that look great on an GS look like !Removed! on a LS . I also have O.Z. opera 2 peice staggared 20's with a silver painted face and polished lip for my LS . It seems i may not get my spacers soon to install them before winter anyway. so what is your tire pressures? I find that a 10-15% difference in economy. I get 700 km per tank with my city /highway mix with my 98 LS400 which is almost the same with my civic. Intake ,exhaust, lowered 1.5inches and 50lbs of tire pressure.

The latch on the trunk lid may have a sticking pin switch. Lube the lock and it should be fine.

I just came back from my exhaust guy for a minor modification. As i was doing ti i took off the last muffler on one side and ran the car. The last muffler is of no consequence and i would just delete it and replace the L shaped resonators. So in short ,from the Y i would cut off the 90 degree angles and make the pipes go to dual mufflers further back replacing the stock ones. OEM style ........|.|............... exhaust mainfold .........T............... You basically replace the piping from 6 to 11 with A new y pipe with a less agressive angle to the outlets. Then use Stainless steel straight pipe to the rear mufflers with tips built on or just 2 canister mufflers with new tips added to be angle style and height you want. Price should be about 100 for piping 100-150 for each muffler and tip 50 for labour so about 350 -500 max for a better looking higher flow exhaust system which will incerase your power and gas mileage.

You have a lying peice of shyyt mechanic. Go and pick up your car right now! Spark plugs NEVER CAN GET SOAKED TO NEED REPLACING EVER!!!! All that needs to be done is to pull off the boots and blow them out with high pressure air.Spark plugs are made of ceramic and metal neither are affected by water to ever warrant replacing. If by chance you have already had him take them out and replce them. Make him show you the old ones before you leave and pull 1 plug from the engein before you will pay him. I would be willing to be a weasel who charges to replace a wet plug is just going to dry them and reinstall and say they are new. You can pressure wash a lexus or any car , you just have to know what you are doing before hand not after in terms of protecting the engine in certain parts.
