  1. There are many dealers in the states that ship touch up paint. longo park place carson and a couple of others have it and ship them. good luck
  2. when ever you use a spot cleaner you would need to rewax as most remove them.
  3. More than likely the old ones were over torqued and snapped. Running on 4 for a little while is fine. Lug nuts only come loose if not tighened properly. I would get the final one replaced as well and you should be fine.
  4. I would also check for vacuum leaks to the air control dampers.
  5. If it runs fine at times it is not the belt. If you can start it can you rev the engine rpms at all? Does it only stall when in gear? Check the intake tube for a rip after the maf. Also clean the maf.
  6. search expansion valve

This has become necessary due to the number of people registering purely to sell, and not contributing to our community
  8. The solar sensor only controls the flow of air to vents or floor not temp. It is not registering any code if you get 21 . It is too dark when you checked it so the sensor shows up
  9. You don't need to flush it unless for reason it has air from replacement of the abs modulator. If it has never been flush it may need to be cleaned again shortly after to remove the old build up inside the lines as the new fluid cleans it.
  10. A single coil or injector would not cause the engine not to start just idle and run badly. A broken t-belt or an old aftermarket alarm that is acting up. Do you hear your fuel pump make any noise when you turn the key?
  11. The filter you are talking about is basically a silt filter it is not really serviceable as it is just to stop large particles from jamming the pump. If the filter was before the pump it would cause the pump to run dry and burn out every time the filter clogged. The silt filter on the pump is on every single car made as there is always debris from gas stations in there holding tanks. The way to clean it up or prevent it is to never buy gas from a station when you see a refuelling tanker on at the station. It will cause the tanks to swirl and the sediment will become suspended and be delivered to your tank. Also try to never buy gas from older stations with older pumps. I try and buy gas at the same stations all the time . They all are new stations other wise if it does not have the option to pay at the pump i would rather run out of gas before i buy it there. Using a good fuel additive helps clean it up also ,like seafoam.
  12. If you want pm me and i can get them up.
  13. LS's have very little support from the aftermarket performance world. The stock airbox like every other car with very few exceptions all breath air form outside the engine bay. The one i mentioned before is a drop in filter. I also modified my stock intake to be more performance than noise cancelling and gained a nice increase as well.
  14. hmm , sounds nice.... Enjoy your trip , funny enough doesn't matter how much money you have you can't buy class. Hopefully i will get out to that end for a trip , look forward to the scenery and cars but not the people who seem to be too much into themselves. The coffee shop sound like though.
  15. Basic synthetics provided me with no improvement in gas mileage. Since making the switch to higher end one like motul which cost 4 times more i have found the mileage change immediately from a 14.6l/100km down to 11.4l100km on the digital readout available on my LS.
  16. :) it is not my video ,just one that suits every interent forum for new members.
  17. Agreed, get the wheels balanced. Also get the rotors checked , have you changed them lately?
  18. You want more mileage and are doing more highway then increase your tire pressure and use a good synthetic oil. Also make sure the car is clean and waxed regularlly.
  19. LMAO 4 pounds ??????? Who told you your upgrade in wheel size is only 4 pounds more? My 20 inch tires weigh 28 and 29 lbs each. The stock ones are much less, closer to 30 lbs rim/tire total.
  20. I would talk to the dealer who sold you the LX and advised on the service. It is not right to need service after buying a cpo but many factors are involved. By there own admission if they cannot find the file to prove it was good they should do the work for free. If not contact Head office for a chat.
  21. moved to the LS forum from general.
  22. glad it worked. Any idea on what they did to fix it?
  23. It is still disabled for now , the admin is offline for the momnet but things will be shorted shortly. how many pics do you have?
  24. Save the guessing ,get it read and know exatly what the code is. Until then it is just a best guess.
