  1. First check your coolant level in the expansion tank and add Toyota coolant if necessary.
  2. Water leaking into trunk on my sc 430 roof seems to be seating properly. (justanswer.com)
  3. I believe each of your headlights has a ballast. My guess is that they are due to be replaced but it'd be good to be sure.
  4. I typically recommend Auto Electric shops for not-so-easy-to solve electrical issues, especially parasitic drains. Those type of shops solve electrical issues that dealerships can't. I've run into a couple over the years that I could not solve. In both cases, the shop figured it out in less than an hour. By the way, it the drain were excessive, you could monitor it while removing one fuse at a time, to isolate the path or component that is causing the drain. In your case, it is puzzling that you can't start your car in only 2-3 days when the drain is only 40 milliamps. I assume you checked the battery voltage while the car is running and when off to rule out the alternator and battery.
  5. Here's some information that may or may not be relevant, since you have a newer vehicle.
  6. I agree with Florida guy, Stephen. Rockauto.com has some very good prices.
  7. I believe you can use the oil change interval algorithm to determine when you should change your oil. Based upon what I've read, the That being said, my newest vehicle's algorithm tells me to change the oil every year, even though the odometer reading has not gone beyond 3000 miles. When I was driving to work at least three times per week, the algorithm illuminated the maintenance required icon at about 5000 miles.

  9. Are you sure that the replacement touchscreen is good? Ours is now 17 years old and working perfectly. A dead battery should not adversely affect the screen.
  10. This is very common among most autos. (Attached is what ours looks like at night) I believe this is because auto manufacturers are limited as to how bright backup lights can be. And without bright lights, clarity of the image is never going to be very clear.
  11. I've installed switched parts like tachometer, digital clock, laser jammer, etc. I found the switched power wire with a DC voltage tester like the one shown in the link. It was always near the ignition switch. 14. The specs are very similar (same horsepower and torque) but his 95 is about 80 lbs lighter than yours. As far as forged pistons, some thought all the Sc 400s had them but the last post in this thread mentions doubt:
  15. Did you buy your relay from the dealership? It looks like there are multiple cooling fan relays.
  16. I suggest that you check for specific codes. If you don't have a scanner, most auto parts stores will check, free of charge.
  17. I believe code P0500 (if you scan and see this) is for the transmission Vehicle Speed Sensor Malfunction. Did you scan for codes?
  18. Neither am I, yet their owners tend to ignore all the quality and reliability issues. The new Kia EV6 was described by Car & Driver magazine (April/2022 issue) as combining the performance of a Tesla Model 3 with SUPERIOR build quality. My guess is that most Tesla owners will not consider test-driving a Kia. If they do, they'd probably get depressed when they got back in their Teslas. 😏
  19. And the current rankings from Consumer Reports:
  20. Welcome to the forum, Randall. We have 134,000 miles on our RX400h and the suspension is still just fine. Is there a reason why you believe your suspension is getting worn out? Regarding replacement parts: I like to buy OEM parts on any of some websites like: lexuspartsnow.com lexusoeparts.com parts.lexus.com lexusdirectparts.com For non and some OEM parts (like sparkplugs), I like rockauto.com 2009 LEXUS RX350 3.5L V6 Strut / Coil Spring / Mount Assembly | RockAuto
  21. I'll have to admit that this is the first time I've seen mention of an LS being used to drift. 😏
  22. You should've received a "Maintenance Schedule" that lists all recommended requirements at increasing odometer readings. My guess that an oil change is recommended at 5000 miles but it's best to verify that.
  23. Congrats! That's a beautiful color! Our dog was only 40 lbs so there was no need for a cover in our RX but hopefully someone with a larger dog(s) will chime in. I see products by this company advertised everywhere but I have never needed one. WeatherTech Products for: 2022 Lexus LX | WeatherTech By the way, Lexus was named the most reliable auto company in the US by Consumer Reports. The top 3 are: Lexus Mazda Toyota
