  1. Took my 2022 Lexus RX350 with about 3000 miles on it for its first service. They rotated the tires, check fluid levels and various other checks. All good. I was wondering why they didn't change the oil? What have others found to be on their first service? Oil change or no oil change? Oh, and this was a free service.
  2. You can purchase on Ebay what is called a "Seat Belt Extender". The way it is designed, you can still use your seat belt if your want. Get a pair of two so this way your passenger can also have the option of a seat belt. This will eliminate any seat belt chimes. I use my vehicle in a large warehouse and make frequent stops every 20 or so feet. Wearing a seat belt is not practical when in the warehouse. You should always wear your seat belt.
  3. I have found Lexus Customer service less than helpful. Called them on Friday morning and they said they would get back with me. Called again late Friday afternoon (since they didn't call me) and they said they would call me tomorrow (Saturday). They didn't call me. On Monday I called again and they said: Ooops, we are not open on Saturday. My brand new Lexus (4 weeks old) was not drive-able. I told them this was urgent. They still didn't call me back on Monday. Finally they called me back on Tuesday to tell me that there was nothing they could do. I had to go back to the original dealer. Not great customer service, well perhaps for a Yugo.
  4. Who did the work on the vehicle? If the Lexus dealer, then you need to return to have them check it. If an independent shop, then high chance they used the wrong brake pads. Same solution, bring it back to the indy garage.
  5. Purchased a 2022 RX350 in Nightfall Mica, fully loaded this past weekend. Already has 258 miles on it. Options are: Wireless Charger $200 / Cold Weather Package $200 / Heads Up Display $600 / Heated and Ventilated seats $640 / Premium Triple Beam LED Headlights $1675 / Luxury Package $3890 / Panorama Moonroof $1850 / Navigation w/Mark Levinson $3365 / Power rear door kick sensor $150 / and Panoramic View Monitor w/Intuitive Parking $1365. This is my first Lexus and really love it. Great car!
  6. I would strongly suggest you check your state law and go no darker than what your state law is. Otherwise, you run the risk of being stopped and either ripping off your tint right there or get a ticket. Here in Kansas the limit is 35%. Always best not to give the police any reason to stop you. Who knows what you might smell, see or plant in your car. Not to mention if you get into an accident at night, the other party could easily claim your tint was too dark to see and thus you are responsible for the accident. I just got a 2022 RX350 and will be tinting to 35% tomorrow.
