  1. Did you follow these steps, exactly? 1. Turn the ignition to run, one position before starting engine. 2. Press the “DISP” switch to change the multi-information display to blank. 3. Turn the ignition off. 4. While pressing the trip meter reset button, set the engine switch to run, one position before starting engine. 5. Keep pushing the “RESET” switch for more than 7 seconds. 6. While doing this operation, the master warning light comes on, a warning tone sounds and the OIL MILEAGE RESET message appears to inform you that light has been reset. After 5 seconds, the system reset is completed. 7. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
  2. You may be able to extract some tips from this post:
  3. For indoor use, only, I have always liked flannel and softweave cotton covers, such as those from www.calcover.com. They do have sideview mirror pockets which make them easier to install.
  4. So a live plug connection gets immersed into gasoline?
  5. Have you looked underneath to see if a plastic bag found its way onto the exhaust pipe?
  6. Welcome, Randy. Have you spoken to the experts at crutchfield.com?
  7. Impressive! I think it's the fastest RX to date. I wonder how quick the EV is.
  8. You might want to take a look at this: Car Engine Doesn't Turn Off When Removing Key or Pressing STOP (youcanic.com)
  9. I'm totally jealous, Trevor! Have a great time out there.👍
  10. Fantastic! Racing is in your blood! I did fly in a biplane, once. It surely wasn't fast but it was fun. My fastest driving experience on the street was in a 2019 McLaren 570S Spider. I did keep it under 150, however.
  11. We had to have a couple of features changed by the dealership. Most likely, you must as well unless you have the same tool they have..
  12. Helloooooooo diabetes!😉
  13. Hello, Ralph. What car do you race? I used to work with a guy who, along with a friend, bought an older Porsche 944 to race it. Back then, used 944s were inexpensive,
  14. Yes, exactly. I did replace the original gear reduction motor with a larger, quieter one that is double the cost.
  15. You have a Ford Escape Titanium? You may be in the wrong forum. This is a Lexus forum.
  16. Lexus Buy & Sell Area - Lexus Owners Club of North America Have you tried this section?
  17. I suggest taking it to an Auto-Electric shop, since it affects the 12V battery. Selling a vehicle "as-is" tends to attract low-ballers, so I think you could raise the price a bit once you have the drain figured out.
  18. I believe a full lock to lock turn of the steering wheel on a completely level surface with a clean lens is required to calibrate the RCD. Also, some owners of Camrys with this feature find that if they shift into reverse too soon after starting the car, before the self-checks are finished, the RCD message appears.
  19. Thanks, Trevor. My goal was to keep the cost down by offering mounting options. The least expensive version includes a hand clamp, the next least expensive includes a rubber insulated (at contact points) screw clamp that takes up less room, and the one depicted above is about $23 more expensive than the squeeze clamp version.
  20. It looks like it would've been a good deal. 😏
  21. According to Consumer Reports (2021 Buying Guide), the 2014 LS460 has an overall reliability rating of "Much better than average". There are only two areas in which reliability ratings are below average: Engine, minor: Oil or fuel leaks, accessory belts and pulleys, engine computer, engine mounts, or engine knock or ping Drive system: Drive shaft or axle, CV joint, differential, transfer case, driveline vibration, traction control, stability control (ESC), or electrical failure A good looking over by a mechanic (or yourself if you are knowledgeable) would be prudent. Ideally, the seller would have a complete list of maintenance and any repair work.
  22. Have you checked the window motor fuses? Lexus ES330 (2004 - 2006) - fuse box diagram - Auto Genius Fuse # 50 is for the rear left window I take it that you did not disconnect the battery? That would eliminate the learn procedure.
  23. Wow! And I thought $6.00/gallon was high!🙄
  24. The next time, open the hood before you start the engine. If there is a serpentine belt that is worn enough, a noise similar to what you describe may occur until the belt warms up.
  25. Here's an exploded and an assembled (rendered) image of it. The motor and switch wiring is not shown. The watch is mounted in such a way that the pendulum moves back and forth, Every hour of rotation charges a fairly new battery for about one week's worth of watch operation. I typically run the winder for multiple hours at a time. The component and assembly designs were done using Alibre Expert and the rendering by Keyshot, which came with Alibre. I also offer clamped stand versions (without the solid stainless steel base) for less money. The one you see below is $132. The motor is fairly quiet but not as quiet as a box watch winder. It took me a while to model the watch, and it is still not yet complete.
