I agree completely, when I was detailing professionally I had at least that many products. Hell, I have half that many now... Different polishes work better on different paints, some are harder than others. Different LSPs (waxes & sealants) look better on different colors and body styles. Some customers want sealants, some want carnuaba. You gotta have an arsenal... Its shops that use a bunch of bulk crap and don't have any passion for what they are doing that dillute the work of true detailers...

I would consult an upholstery shop... You can't just replace one section, the leather only comes as an entire seat bottom and seat back.

Doesn't surprise me...I wouldn't expect a lot of LS460s require radiator replacement and its not a huge volume car so im sure there aren't many radiators around...

My Lexus and every other Lexus I've had will keep it on Auto if you manually turn recirculate on or off. Prius the same way... Light stays on...

Fault doesn't matter for your options, it will dictate what you'll pay for insurance in the future though. Do you have a police report? You need to contact your insurance company and have them evaluate the car, let us know what they say. My guess is if the side airbags deployed its totalled. Whatever they offer you for the total loss (you can negotiate with them...) will be what you'll have to pay off the loan with. If its less than you owe, you'll have to come up with the difference unless you have gap coverage...

Do you have the chrome running along the trim down the doors too so its one line of chrome all the way around? I would think it wouldn't look right unless that was the case. I like the trim on the bumpers and body cladding, I'd take it off the mirrors, thats overkill IMHO and not typically where manufacturers put chrome. The bumpers and cladding will pass for OEM...

I think in that climate you would have to either use a waterless wash in the garage or find a touchless wash or use an automatic carwash. It needs to be done, however like I said its less of an issue if the vehicle sits outside because the corrosive chemicals are inert. The answer is...its better than not washing it. However, touchless high pressure washes use harsh chemicals that themselves can stain the paint and dry out black trim, etc. Automatic washes use similar chemicals and those cloth strips are abrasive themselves and rarely cleaned. My advice, if you want to take the best care of the vehicle but don't want to wash it yourself, I would have a mobile detailer wash it for you regularly. Won't cost a whole lot more than the automatic wash...
