SK, any idea where to purchase this stuff in stores in the GTA? I've seen some dealerships advertise it, but they want $30+ for one application! I appreciate the info. B)
This looks like an interesting product by the PPG glass company. Has anyone heard of & used this product before? Any feedback is appreciated. B)

No leaks whatsoever? I agree to do a full engine coolant flush (with distilled water), thermostat & rad cap replacement.......I would have the water pump inspected & would even consider using Red Line water wetter (half bottle) into the recovery tank after the flush. What condition are the actual rad & hoses in?
Since the price of the GS is much higher, the ES would be my choice........if they were around the same price, the GS AWD would be my choice, especially for winter driving. B)
Happy to help Lex.......there is a really good bunch of folks on this site with lot's of help & advice available. Many basic items like the oil gelling (and related issues) have been covered many times here & chances are you just have to do a search to get the info you need.
Post pics of your ES when you can. B)
If anyone know's Comedian Bill Engvall, he has a trademark spoof he does called 'here's your sign' & it's so funny. I think Bill would be proud of this link below....... :whistles:

Welcome Lex! B) I owned a 2001 ES & the styling & tail lights helped my decision back then too. ;)
Try doing a search on here, but the 2000 & 2001's are pretty darn reliable all things considered.......the only major issue is the oil gelling problems for the 98 - 01 model years. Do a search on that & you will be wll informed on the matter. Enjoy!
Buddy of mine nailed a Skunk in his Forester tonight & apparently the car just reaks something aweful now. Just curious if anyone knows of any products available out there to get the Pepe le Pew smell out? This might come in handy for me down the road.......since my work has moved to the sticks & these little buggers are all over the place.
Can you be more specific in describing the problem, such as the speeds that it's most noticed etc? How many miles on the car? The more detailed you are, the better we can assist. ;) I assume your air pressures are correct in your tires?
Josh,
You be safe & keep well my friend! I'm sure I speak for most when I say we'll be thinking about you & look forward to your safe return. B)
Meghan, please keep us posted regularly & you too our in our thoughts & prayers.
Godspeed!

This appears to be turning into yet another one of those oil threads.....GLM, my best advice is to do a search to get a better idea here because this has been covered so many times it's a broken record. :whistles:
I hear ya bud......I can't even be bothered to get angry anymore at stuff like that (although I am well aware how infuriating it is) & I feel for you. :(
