I have a 1997 ES300 and was wondering if there is a diiference between the headlamps that came with factory HID's compared to the headlamps that came without factory HID's. If they are the same part how would I go about upgrading to the factory HID system.

Yeah I'm using a glass microfiber but I just can't get the technique down for streak free glass that way.

I've tried the glass microfiber thing for a while but it still left streaks. So I've gone back to using Windex and newspaper on the glass which leaves it streak free . Will this cause scratches ion the future ?

On a 97 es300...is there a way to program the car unlock when for example in park and to lock for example when you put it into drive ? or anything like that ?

Thanks everyone !! I can't believe I missed the knob. The owners manual points to the right side of the steering wheel but it's actually straight down the middle, way underneath.

I have a 97 es300 and all of the sudden when I push the lock and unlock button on the remote, it no longer makes any noise. I must have somehow disabled it. Does anyone know hot to configure it back. My car doesn't have that volume control knob under the steering wheel columm like the owners manuals says. Thanks

Can anyone recommend a good car cover for a 97 ES300 ? I had bought one from Costco and it was working well until I decided to wash it. It was OK in the wash but when I stuck it in the dryer parts of it had melted. I'm in the bay area in California, so I don't have to consider snow and ice protection.

I guess with the blank cd-rw media available nowadays it must either not work or that I'm doing something wrong. I've tried TDK, Sony and even Memorex with no luck. They all have that bluish tint to them. It works fine with my TDK cd-r tho. Thanks for all the responses and if anyone has any other ways please let me know.

I have a 1997 ES300 with the stock radio and cd changer. I've read all the other post about this topic, some say you can and some say you can't. Can anyone confirm that you can play burned cd-rw's in this model ES ? If so which software are you using and did you have to change any of the settings prior to writing to the cd-rw ? Thanks

I just recently bought a 1997 ES300 and sometimes when going over bumpy/rough raods, there is a kinda rattle coming from the ashtray. Anyone else have this problem and if so, any remedy ? Thanks
