  1. I had the same problem. Solution: Take one of the caps to a auto part store, advance auto parts, etc and buy the spray paint that matches the silver finish and a spray bottle of clear coat. Sand the caps down with fair sandpaper down to the plastic until they are a little rough (for the spray to stick). Spray...wait....clear and they are better than new, as my new finish matched the wheels better than before!
  2. Very nice. Crop out the front bumper and you got a prefect car. ;) What year/model steering wheel is that from?

    What If?

Stealing for living isn't a bad job after all........and I'm not talking about car repos.
  4. Are you sure you were not in "N"? San Francisco, parallel parking, incline, hurrying up for cars in the back........ :whistles: I would experiment with the car on similar incline to be sure there was a fault in transmission and take Lexus to court from there.... :D
  5. Never knew a LS could sound like that...........
  6. You can probably get a little more than $8k in our area, with all the proper maintenance documentations and a nice coat of polish&wax.
  7. There certain differences between any two cars hand picked from the same “category” of cars in this case Luxury Sedans. Since they are built by different manufactures there is always price variation, which makes one more appealing than the other. Price is a main factor but is certainly not the utmost determining factor when comparing two vehicles, especially when comparing S-Class to LS to 7-series. Price is a main factor but is certainly not the utmost determining factor when comparing two vehicles, especially when comparing S-Class to LS to 7-series. After scrolling through the unnecessary pictures, the C-class looks very appealing. Judging from the pictures, my verdict is that the 07 IS350 wins in every aspect, at most it looks more appealing than the 3-series.
  8. They are also found all over Europe. Here we are ridin' dirty in Hummers and Excursions....... :D
  9. NC: I also agree with you 100%. I am always bothered by people who pass judgments on solely the illegal immigrants and overlook the government and dishonest, crook, lawbreaking employers in the U.S.
  10. Not only does it not relate to anything. It does not even make sense. Reread and think about what you just wrote! 1. For someone to be in medical school, they must have a Bachelor’s Degree. Even if they came from a very small college they must have superb credentials in order to get accepted into a medical school. 2. One’s inability to speak perfect English does not mean they are illegal. 3. As a former “surgeon” you are well aware of the demands of medical school and a med. student’s failure at work is likely due to med. school’s work load and evidently not by some non English speaking immigrant! In this day and age there are numerous professional jobs for graduate students in colleges and universities. Which makes it hard to believe a med. student would be working in a grocery store to begin with........
  11. Well that was professional. Don’t forget the WAR on__________
  12. A carport should be enough for the longevity of the vehicle’s paint and leather.
  13. Repost: http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...c=34446&hl= and wrong section bud..
  14. In a misty day I had trouble recognizing between the new ES and LS, but that is about it. They both do look similar from a distance but not up close and definitely not if sitting side by side each other. IMO, the IS and ES look very different and especially in the above two pictures. All of the new Lexus sedans do resemble each other but are easily recognizable from a reasonable distance.
  15. Honestly, you are better off buying something else for $3600 (added $1000 of known repairs). Like larryp said, the cost of repair and mostly parts will out number the cost of the car. Recently there has been a thread about the high cost of Lexus parts........... About 2-3 years ago: The "minor" leak in the rack and pinion cost me $600 for replacement........the minor things change into major repairs before you know it.
  16. Should have installed it yourself the first time. ;) Circuit city..................... :chairshot:
