  1. I think the key into wood trim is knowing when enough is enough....... The wood looks nice.
  2. Well since you posted this, I thought maybe I should use this against you :P If you are a bit worried about your insurance, etc. over this simple speeding ticket what if you were pulled over during this (your twisties thread): http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...topic=24665&hl=
  3. The 04 GS430 has orange/red lights. But the 06 GS430 has white lights.
  4. I would have bidded on it, if it had matching red interior. ;)
  5. I can't seem to take the back door off, I am starting from the back. There are no screws in the bottom where the some carpet is attached. I tried ripping the cover out but I think it was held on to some metal pieces and I ripped it out.................any help please.
  6. Yeah, those Pioneers do look good. The person that is going to put the speakers in, should be able to tell me if its the speakers or something else. But thanks for the heads up.
  7. Hey guys, I have been searching and found these in Walmarts website because ebay's price+shipping=not worth it So, these: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=2569445 and some cheapos: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=3635432 Got another question: While my front doors are opened why not replace the tweeters as well. Seems like there is only one size. Is there any particular size tweeters that our LSs take?
  8. That’s exactly what I wanted to know, a past experience. Thanks guys. Can I buy some cheap speakers like $20 ones or should I buy expensive ones >$90? If I want the same original sound or a little better. But won't the expensive experience require/recommend running from a better amp, then the factory one?
  9. No, it did not happen all at once. First it was the front speakers did not work (2 years ago) just recently the rear back does not work neither. So, now 3 out of 4 speakers do not work. The amp is on the top of the cd-changer in the back. Yes, I have the Nakamichi sound system.
  10. 1993 LS400_One of the four door speakers work, the rear right side door's speaker. All of the other three do not. The Sub in the back and the two tweeters in the front doors work. Now, the one speaker that does work makes a funny buzzing noise, not the noise that indicates that it is damaged or ripped, but just a noise! :) I am pretty sure that it could be a handful of things wrong causing this, but I just want to know if any one else had past experience with speakers dieing out so hopefully I can pinpoint my problem easily and perhaps find the solution. ;) Someone told me the speakers have built in amplifiers. I have to bypass the amp to get the speakers back, but they will not give me the surround sound like they use to once before. :( Thanks
  11. I'm good thanks for asking. How have you been? LOL. No, I meant that YOU put them in the archived gallery, that you uploaded the pictures in to the gallery. ;) Great find though.
  12. These pictures are in our archived gallery in the LS category, most likely uploaded by CanadaCraig: http://us.lexusownersclub.com/gallery/LS?page=69 I am preaty sure that these are not photoshoped
  13. CanadaCraig, where did you get/find these pictures from? They are in your photobucket so we can't go back to its original site. Never the less, the design of the car looks outstanding.
  14. I saw just waiting to see if someone is going to reply..............I was off on my fall break and decided to photoshop.... ;) :)
  15. Guys, this is the real deal The NEW LS4--:
  16. a large majority ← Majority, not all. I don't know another term to call a person from Mexico, Mexican neither. This is equivalent: A person's lawn mower=red necks.
  17. Really won’t hurt replacing “Mexicans” with Latino.
  18. We have a 200 watts CD player but it does not fit perfectly into the slot, there seems to be space left around it, this was told by one of my friends who tried to replace the cassette player on our car.
  19. 1. Does it need a different stereo in the dash for a cd changer to work? 2. How hard is to mount&plug in the changer, in the trunk preferably? Similar to hooking up subs from the trunk? Thanks.
  20. Microsofts Anitspyware is real good as well. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...&displaylang=en Lavasoft's adaware does a good job as well..........Ad-Aware SE Personal Edition is free http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-SE-Person...tml?tag=lst-0-2 .......but like me you can purchase Ad-Aware SE Professional Edition http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adawareprofessional/ Also make sure you have the windows security updates downloaded.......http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ Norton has a lot of small programs running that makes the computer slow. I switched to PC-Cillin Trend Micro 2005. Getting Norton’s folders and files was a pain as well.......it was every where. I have a friend who has the same specs on his laptop as yours, except it’s a Sony Viao and he has NIS 2005 as well and well........let's just say he is pretty mad with Norton on his computer.
  21. Got the car done last week, but just tested it today........... Wow, what a difference in steering. Now, the steering wheel turns effortlessly. Very happy with the results. He wants us to come back after few weeks to check up on the car.............never had that offered before, from an independent shop. B) B)
  22. actually I didn't look back. I could tell by the tone of your post that it had to be the high end interior of a low end automaker. I simply hit the websites of several automakers (Ford, KIA, etc) KIA was number three on my hit parade. steviej ← Ford :whistles:
