I bought mine off craigslist a while back, they work great, the speed jack is an arm saver, two pumps and the car is ready for lifting, it has the 18" reach like my stands.

on my 97, we removed the tranny mount and jacked the motor up and worked them in. but we were replacing both, not just one, still might work.. good luck, let us know

NOTE: with a low battery, one of my 99 would crank over and over, but would not start, I swapped batterys and shazam! it started, so I got a new battery and no more problem. these things are very sensitive to voltage.... here are photos of both, twins except wheels

When we repaired my starter. I cleaned my TC valve, it was not very dirty (141k), see photo, so I just sprayed carb cleaner in it and it came out clean. no problems so far.

I'll try. here is a upgrade, put my chrome wheels with gold trim on.

well, I have one that is working and one that dosent, so maybe comparing them I can figure it out.

list at 5000 and settle for 4500 it has 250k,(almost) but EVERYTHING works properly, no leaks. here it is without the gold..

also . reason I mention it here is because of the tires, they are Yokohoma AVID TOURING-S they are new, but I dont know anything about them, I have always run Michelin Symmetry (even tho I get ragged out by the forum mrgs, becaues they are not high speed tires). are these good tires, they are quite and smooth now. looking for comments...

WELL.... after I pull the chrome wheels off the 97, I will sell it... its flawless. been around the world a few times, but WELL maintained.. WP/TC last september. this is it, but without chrome wheels, same wheels, polished not chrome. oh, I swapped the gold package to the 99, this will be silver.

I don't know if will help but the following thread has a TSIB I supplied in 2008 which has drawings of both the tilt and telescope motor assemblies on the 99-00 LS400: http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=52466&st=0&p=338068&hl=%20tilt%20%20TSIB&fromsearch=1entry338068 The drawings seem to be quite detailed if you zoom in on them. I was lucky that my 00 LS was about the 6,000th car assembled after the revised tilt and telescope motors were implemented at the factory. I think that is enough info for me to take it apart and try to fix it/see what is wrong. hopefully get it working, I think they are quite expensive, but at least I should put it in a comfortable position for driving.... Hi, I just bought another 99, and it has the tilt/tele problem. knowing 98 and up are different, is there a cheap fix for this? my tele is working, but my tilt is NOT. any help appreciated and photos of the parts are needed also. here she is...

I need the two smaller light assembles on the pass side front end. I dont need the big one in the middle. I also need the dr side outside mirrow- glass only. Mine is gone. I would also consider the power steering pump -if you already have it off and it does not leak. I just bought a '92 LS 400 and it does have these issues that need fixed. You can reply to: jerry2shoes@yahoo.com as an alternative. I was going to tell you to look eastmanm up, but you have found him... it might be easier to buy the completa light assy, than the individual pieces... just a hint...

yes they will fit, but your 92's will not fit the 95.

ADVICE... put it back original and your problem is solved, why do you need headers anyway????
