i think im gonna try and recharge my a/c. it works but it only blows hot air i hope i don't have a bad compressor...

when the steering column locks on these things sometimes it can be hell to get the key to turn ive had to use some pliers b4 to turn my key it was that bad.

hey guys im working on my girlfriends 94 camry and i had to take the timing belt off. i didnt check the timing b4 i took it all apart but im pretty sure it was ok but the water pump went out and i replaced that with the pulleys and now i got the new belt on but i dont kno if its timed right.......

i was thinkin about gettin my exhaust redone one last time but if i removed both the mufflers there would really be any thing to muffle the sound, but i remember what my car sounded like with str8 pipes and it was pretty damn loud sounded like a nascar.

hahah man that sounds sick ive always wanted my car to run like it does when it first starts. i swear i leave tire marks everywhere when it first starts. could this be done to 94 ls? wow finally a solution to that. the trannny shifts soooo damn good when it first starts too.

I had a problem just like this. I had a bad connection or a short in the wire that goes from the fuel pump to the ECM. Check the small stuff first. Don't dump a lot of money into it until you know exactly what it is.

the brakes on the ls are very easy to change theres only one wire running to the brakes and all you have to do is disconnect it with a flat head and then pop the pad out and slide it out and make sure to put the small metal bracket that holds the sensor on the new brake pads. changed mine they work great

my car has totally jumped timing 2 teeth on the drivers side which caused it to run on 5 cylinders

that's what i was told when i drove my tranny guy around the block today. that it was the shift solenoid but its really starting to worry me i dont want my tranny to mess up. hopefully ill know something tomorrow, my check engine lights coming on and off everyday, so i gotta know whats wrong with it.

yea my car has a similar problem with the tranny. but when i stomp it, it takes a while for the gear to engage it revs up to 4 like its in neutral and it jerks really bad when it shifts. im thinking the differential fluid could be low because the axles are leaking apparently

ive always just put some 3 in 1 motor oil on my belt every once in a while i hear a bird chirpin it always fixes it, and it usually doesnt come back for another month or 2.

any junkyard around you look them up in the yellow pages and start visiting them till you find a car like yours. they'll probably make you take the parts off yourself. i live in FL and ive seen plenty of ls400's in junkyards around here so im sure you can find one goodluck. and dont file a claim its alot more trouble than its worth just fix it yourself or at least get the parts for cheap and act like it never happened

id also check the cats they could be clogged and that will cause buildup and make it get hot and you'll definitely lose power. does the engine sound like its misfiring or knocking?

might wanna go hit up a junk yard and pull it off of a car probably cost you tons less.

ok i'll check to see if the engines getting fuel and see if the plugs are firing i'll let you guys know tonite what ive found out. thanks.

guys i have another problem. i kno the loc isnt for other cars but my girlfriends 94 toyota camry will not start. the other day i had driven it to get my car and it ran perfectly fine. the next day she goes to start it to go to work and it doesnt start. the starter turns the engine turns over and i just dont see how all of the plugs could have went bad. it doesnt run at all the starter just keeps turning the motor over. i was thinkin it could possibly be a fuse but if you guys could point me into the right direction i would appreciate it.

thats what i was told but the last jack leg that worked on it was supposed to replace the timing belt because we thought that was the problem turned out to have a fried fuse box. and it never really ran good as it did since then and sometimes it would vibrate. but with that whole tune up the car runs amazing now runs better than the last time i drove it.

got my car back tonite guys! turns out it had jumped timing. and that was causing it to run the way it did. runs like brand new now.

Im really starting to worry about my car because i havent had it for a while now because its been in the shop. i was thinkin maybe it could be the wires running to the fuel injectors does any one have any clue im soooo confused!

the headers dont get turn red at all and i realized my car doesnt run rough until it warms up and it sits at a low 450 rpm and it bogs up and down. but when its cold it doesnt seem to missifre at all.

another thing thats wierd is that my check engine light isnt on could i still pull a code to b sure without buying somethin i dont need.

awesome that makes perfect sense b/c i can hear the sound from the driver side exhaust and its kinda knockin a lil bit and it sounds like *BLEEP* to b honest but is this a hard fix or is it somethin i could do myself? and if someone could send me a link to someone with a similar problem id appreciate it thanks guys.

well i got my car fixed and have had the headers on it for a while now and its been running fine and now all of a sudden it feels like its runnin offa four cylinders it barely made it up the bridge today and its shaking alot. before i went into anything i thought id get the experts advice thanks in advance.

yea so the flanges are apparently too big which is likewise b/c they're too big for the resonators soo we're gonna cut the flanges the size of the resonators and knock all of the restrictive *BLEEP* inside of them and then hopefully it will all fit like it should.
