  1. u need to search topic, i have posted how to contact the lexus customer service and they may pay for it as its a safety issue
  2. fixed....trailing arm bushing bolt was almost completely out, put in new bushing and its good as new
  3. i have 235-4018's on my 92 Ls with 18x8.5 inch rims and it looks like there is room for a wider tire, and i have it lowered, so if u have it at stock height i would say yes u can run those tires....have a shop mount one on the rim and put it on the car first to look and see

  6. when i am at highway speeds and i brake, the !Removed!-end of my car shifts to the left a little like a bad bushing or something in the rear of the car.....anyone have similar problems?
  7. when u brake and u feel the pedal slowly go to the floor, thats a master cylinder problem...never heard of them making a whinning noise
  8. i will tell u how it works as i was a service writer....the labor is covered for 1 year, meaning they gaurantee their work not the parts, so if any parts fail its on you, but, if any of their work is at fault then its covered
  9. on an obd 1 a bad coil wont throw a code and if it did it wouldnt effect the ability to check the code
  10. blayd please let people who have experience in this area make the replies....your car will shut off if the alternator is bad, if the battery has lost its power due to not being charged and the alternator is not putting out then what is going to give the car voltage to the coils?.......
  11. if your car is getting hot at idle but cools down when u r driving it sounds like the fans are not working....when it starts to get hot,get out of the car and see if any of the coolant fans come on

  13. u can fry the ecm doing this, check the fuses under the hood
  14. too much i would think, btw i think the 93's and 94's had the burned out climate control problem more than the 91-92's....i have a 92 and it works fine...the only problem i have is some of my needles are only lit up half way across the needle
  15. i work at napa and have some knowledge of this, i also had my ac done, alexander is pretty much right on the money, except i am not going to tell u that ur evap is leaking cuz mine wasnt, mine leaked from the expansion valve which is right next to the evap
  16. well i've heard both ways on this topic as i work at Napa auto and we sell to many many shops in our area and i always hear feedback on just about every subject....but the molecular structure is different than regular oil and it can create leaks after the engine has a lot of miles on it, mainly from the seals....im not saying this is a fact im just saying i wouldnt chance it
  17. unplug ur efi fuse located under the hood, but im telling u its probably going to come back on, if that doesnt make it go off, disconnect the battery for 10 minutes or so
  18. 5-7k on the 5w-30.....brand new bmw's are recommended at 7-10k i believe
