  2. hello everyone--- I seem to be feeling a slight vibration occasionally in my steering wheel (even at idle, stop) and in my accelerator....I have had my alternator and battery checked and they seem to be fine....however my PS fluid is leaking (again)...I had the system cleaned last summer...could it be the little air valve? motor mount?

  9. I have been looking all over New Mexico and can't find another LS the years I want, 95-99 for what I want to pay. No one wants to give them up!!...or they are too much of a (mess) to buy. Anyone have one...or know where to look. The Lexus dealer just laughs at me when I ask them if they ever get any into the showroom.....ha ha....
  10. Even without Trac Control, if you're riding snow tires, you should be able to feather the throttle enough to prevent spinning and sliding. I would make sure your front brakes aren't dragging. It doesn't take much to affect your traction in the snow. I think he implied that he does not have snow tires. I don't know, she did say "They are snow tires." So maybe I'm just not understanding her correctly. Yes, they are snow tires...brand new ones. Not seeming to help.

You know, I don't remember spinning around this much last year, with the sand bags in the trunk, and I drove all winter...I will check out my brakes, blacktop...thanks.
  12. I have been spinning all over the road! I don't have the traction option, but my tires are new, and don't seem to help. They are snow tires. I think I have forgotten how to drive on ice and snow! I have loaded a couple sand bags in the trunk, too, but that doesn't even help.
  13. nice headlite feature...what is it? and welcome....everyone has been so nice to me here. great group and lots of good advice!
  14. killer- yeah....I noticed that! my wheels spun on ice w/o it on. thanks wonder how jcrome is doing?
  15. 0, thank you....1990 I had turned it off thinking I could get better gas mileage...but after reading Wiki...I gues I will get better gas mileage with it on> thanks !
