yep.. has velour seats.. this is popular in japan due to their climate.. i did want leather.. but to get all the things i wanted was hard remember.. this car is not made for the UK.. so we have to import the car over. first off she is a very rare 5 speed manual.. i chose this because of re-sale value later on She is a 2.5 Twin Turbo with the 1JZ-GTE engine... She has a holographic digital dash with onboard computer after reviewing this car from many owners then are getting some very good performance specs from this engine Book power output 280 BHP 363Nm (at 4800 rpm) Torque. 0 to 60 mph 5.8 seconds 0 to 100mph in Circa 14 seconds and top speed of 170 mph. This is specs for the auto box.. I find the manual box really nice!!!! I took her out on some windy country roads last night (in the uk we have some very small windy roads!!) aand she handled like a dream! the power was sooo sweet... i could not stop smiling! the price you ask.. well i paid £4895 which is about $7000 oh yeah.. 60,000 kilometers on the clock.. which is about 36,000 miles! and she is a 92 model.. yes you read correctly 92!

that ticking is just the injectors... and if I am right the valves adjust themselves.. nothing to worry about.

i dont think he will have much choice... he will have to disconnect one of the hoses.. now i think it might be for the oil.. Not sure if it the haudralulic.. but I do remember having to top up the fluid resevoir. cant remember as was a while ago

cracks in the rubber.. these are easily spotted from the engine bay also put the car into reverse with your foot on the brake and slowly accelerate (very slowly) at the same time as pressing the brake pedal (left foot on brake) with someone watching under the hood and if the engine moves alot then the mounts are worn.

hi stevie This is an amazing car.. very quick too... the sound was awesome.. we were driving around the show site revving the engine and people were really amazed because it looked just like a IS200.. but it rumbled! when we blipped the accelerator the noise was sooo awesome.. i have it all on camera! so i will post some film!!!! very exciting day!

You should hear the car!!.. very nice indeed I have the car on video as we are kicking her in the guts the floor vibrates!.. very nice video shot of mat ..did not get myself in it though..

This weekend we had a very big show.. massive force turned out and was probably the biggest show we have ever done. However.. the special guest was the IS430 the most talked about lexus in the history of Lexus. The IS430 is a development project of TTE (toyota team europe) its a toy basically that TTE are playing with.. thats why Lexus have nothing to do with it. Lexys would never intoduce it because actually launching a new car costs millions.. rigirous testing for safety mainly. There is alot of bullbleep floating around saying that is is going to be produced or built for special orders.. its all a bunch of crap.

the ES uses the "Active" system.. you cannot tap it I rewired my whole car and ripped out the crappy factory system.. much happier now and I can upgrade my headunit whithin seconds.

What are the service intervals for a Cambelt for a 92 ES is it every 60K?? cheers
