it mainly happens when i drive on the freeway approx 65 mph, hten exit and do stop and go traffic.

Hey guys thanx for all the help. I will try the vinager and news paper trick. Just FYI Not a new car it is 10 years old, and two i do not smoke, it never occured to me that would be an issue, well because i do not smoke. But i do have to give this forum alot of credit, I have learned more about my car and cars in general then i have from all the books and websites i have access to at my college. don't quite know what to make of this? But the car no longer is having problems i did not get it to the shop b/c i have been sick for the past 4 days, but it is running fine, it is mind boggling. And i do know this will come back to haunt me, but what should i worry i have a warrenty on everything, and they will give me a loaner car

So ever since i have owned my car i get this wierd film that forms on the inside of the car. I have tried many different things to clean it but they all tend to make the problem worse(the glass is not foggy but streaky). The wost of the all is plain old rubbing alochol. I have 2 questions what is causing it? and how do i clean it ?

thanx poneyboy for the information, i am feed up with the mechanic i am using, i went to pick up my car and they left the partly door open all night and drained my battery, they said the would place it on a charger and let it warm up, but the lazy bleep did not do it, and just jumped when i came to pick it up again. I am going to another mechanic that is a family friend, that i just found out about, and see what they can do for the car. Sam

So my I hace been without a car for the past month while the mechanics try to fix my car. It started off by over heating. There was a crack in the raditor, so they replaced that and the thermostat; and i thought the problem was fixed, but oh no. It over heats again, this time it is the cooling fan, specifcally the power steeing system, that was replaced. So to my dismay the car overheated one more time, but this time the mechanic does not find anything wrong, and says he can not make the car over heat. So i am picking up the car car today, but i want to know why my car overheats. If anyone has any suggestions it would be helpful. Sam The cheapest mechanic is not always the best

Hey I new to this forum. I just had my 92 ES300 in the shop for a while. The water pump froze up and threw my timing belt off with caused my pistons to be slammed shut. The put in a used enigne 1996 es300 with 60k on it. Then the car over heated, took it back they replaced the radiator, because it was cracked and added a new thermostat. No for the first time since I got my car back, it has been 1 week, the car started to overheat again now. I live in texas and the past week it has been 100. But today my car seemed to have problems does any one have any suggestions for me to tell my mechaninc. Sam
