  1. it may be the Maf Sensor or Throttle Body is very dirty. Very easy to fix Here is directions on cleaning a MAF sensor for the RX300.. very similar http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/knowledge...id=152&c=11 Use Electrical contact cleaner.. Maplins supply this. Do not use anything else. Throttle body can be cleaned by removing the air intake pipe from the throttle body and squirting carb cleaner onto the butterfly valve. Keep squirting until all the black gunk is removed. Clean with tissue. If you are not mechanically minded then I suggest getting someone who can do it for you... But it is pretty simple to do. Once that is done reset the ECU (remove Negative terminal for 30 mins) I would do that before anything else. P1121 Erorr codes are caused by the same problem... and your code is very similar good luck.
  2. thats because google spiders us daily and the results can sometimes be placed on google withn a few hours. It figures we are trusty and the content is trusty so adds it to its index very quickly. I put a news article on the UK club and whithin 3 hours it was there.. that was for the IS250 and it reached top spot. But then dropped a week later
  3. when you say cooling sensor do you mean the MAF sensor?? did you rest ECU afterwards?
  4. hi The spark plugs and HT leads will have nothing to do with the radio. Have you had the battery tested?

  13. I do apologize for the problems. We had some work done to the server and some of the settings need adjusting. We are working to solve the problem and we need members to tell us if you experience any problems so we can eliminate them. We will get it all working properly very soon.

  16. Hi Folks We have had a few people complaining of website problems on our other boards and wanted to check to see if these boards have the same problem. Members are complaining that they can only access the forums for about 2 minutes then the page goes blank with the letter H in the left hand corner. Also website seems real slow (even though server has been fine) We are trying to work out if it is a server problem, forum problem or something else. Please let us know and be as decriptive as poss. many thanks

  22. Hi Folks My apologise for the downtime of the forums for the last 24 hours. I had to perform some very heavy data importing on this server which rendered the server almost useless over the 24 hour period due to server load. The job is still not complete and today the forums may still have the odd patchy moment. Over the next coming we shall be migrating data to an SQL server which may mean the boards being closed for a short time while we sync the data. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. cheers Steve
