if i owned a new 430, there is NO doubt i would spend the money for this kind of protection you have any pics of this installed on either one of your cars?

interesting, my light has one setting: the light is either ON or OFF.........and its the same light you might have a bad switch in there or bad wire, like you mentioned, cause i've never seen or heard of the light being brighter or dimmer indicating a different problem. <_<

there are a million gaskets under the hood of the car tommy.... could you be a little more specific?, that doesn't make much sense... what mechanical part is it on? it would be helpfull if you took a pic, therefor we could give you a direct answer ;)

a clear bra would definately work there is also a clear material (sticker type) that will ahear to any part of your car, ie....headlights, bumper, ect......you cut it to the shape you need and apply.....it will protect any part of the car from rock chips, bugs ect.......... i can't remember the company that makes it, give me some time and i'll post the website here is one kit made by 3M, but there are many others http://www.clearmask.com/aboutourkits.htm

you are probably low on Brake fluid......check that first and foremost....... those sensors in the resevoir are very sensitive, i had that happend b/f and it was only a 1\4 of an inch below and it triggered the light good luck

i personally think the seats in my car are very comfy............ but a good buddy of mine (has a 91 LS) called me the other day asking the same questions you all are asking about the seats,,,,,,,,,inquiring that they are really uncomfortable and they hurt his back he wanted some suggestions for a more fitting seat........one similer to a racing seat or something of that nature (that molds to the body)....... i told him it would be very expensive to do, but he said money was not a problem......i also said that a seat of that nature would not look good in a LS400, and he agreed.......... so i gave a suggestion of getting a seat of that nature and wrapping it in matching leather, and we both thought that might be a good resolution. also maybe a later Gen model seat would be more fitting to his needs, although it woulnt' be plug and play, i could get it to work.. i told him to give me a week or so to research this topic and i would get back to him with a solution.......so i will do my part, and if any of you guys find out anything b/f i do, or have any other suggestions, just post it or send me a PM.

your welcome :D yeah they will fit just fine........No, i have the 16" LS wheels from '98-'00 LS400....my particular wheels are of of a 99 LS400.........those look great on any LS, IMO they are the best wheel design for the LS lexus has ever made..... for the "17's you are gonna have to look for a set from a '01 or up LS, they even have 18's, that would look nice as well.

yeah that looks really clean 92..........from what i get, i think the clears look a lot better on lighter color LS ie......white, beige, silver, gold ect... than they do darker colors, like mine........but i dont know....... <_<

i have been to Jakarta, probably about 7 years ago for vacation, it was beautiful Wow the transmition already went out at 50K??? that is very uncommon just like V said........ VMF covered pretty much everything i can add that member Lexls has some great tutorials on his site about speaker/HU stuff....i would reccomend you check that out for some ideas its www.lexls.com about the wheels, i'm a little old fashion when it comes to ideas about wheels i like to stick with OE, IMO the later Generation LS wheels look great on the older Gens......so you can look maybe into some LS430 17's......those would look really clean on your 94.......check ebay for that.......(i guess shipping would be outrageous though)

oh i didn't mean to offend you, if i did i'm sorry, i wasn't making that comment directly to you, i just think the tutorials our members make should be accessable to fellow members of the LOC, on this board, thats all...........and i want this sites tutorials to grow first and foremost, i think that is very important to our club.........if we or they would like to add the tutorials on your site as well, that would be even better actually that would be GREAT :) i love your site man, its awsome...i look at it all the time its on my favorite page......... :D you put ton of work into it and it shows........you are also a great asset as a member here on the LOC and i'm thrilled you're a part of our club, and i'm glad you are here....... :) its enthusiasts like you that get people pumped up (including me) to do their own work on the ole flagship LS.........

i just think they should be exclusive to the members HERE on the LOC......we are a small family here and we ought to keep all our hard work for other LOC members to view in house........just my opinion though.

huh that is interesting and would save A LOT of time in the process.... but my only concern would be,,,,,,,making sure that you got all the embedded stuff off the paint.....when i do mine sometimes i have to go over the same spot 4-5 times to get all the grit off........ <_< i'll definately try it out, thanks for sharing......... :D

as you can see if you pay someone to do the repairs it adds up QUICK.....i promise you can do most of the things you mentioned, you paid for,,, especailly the TB cleaning, but you gotta do what you gotta do, and i understand that :) about the oil pan gasket leak.......i changed my oil last weekend....and i noticed there is some sludge and a little "wetness around the oil pan gasket......i know it is seeping a little (very small leak, no dripping) b/c everytime i change my oil i always thoroghly clean the surrounding area, as to check for things like that.......its very very minor, but i'm all about prevention anyway, i'm gonna change the gasket out in a little while, as not to waste my Mobil 1 i just put in there.......its a very easy job, and i'll make a tutorial when I "getter done" good luck

ok gotcha the LS is pure CLASS in every bit of the sense........i drive an LS and i'm 25, (there are also a lot members that are younger than i am that drive LS's) so age isn't an issue with this car........actually i don't see many older people driving them nowadays.......old/young, its a great car to own. the LS is far from an "old person's car" and you will find that out the first time you drive one....... :) other members will chime in as far as comparisons......... you will find that the 4.0 and especially the 4.3L V8 pack plenty of power.. ;)

is the engine stumbling or cutting out?, meaning does it do it only when you are on the gas at 40mph or does it do it when you are off the gas as well (coasting) or is the car shaking all together when that speed is reached? (non engine related) if it shakes when the car reaches that speed on any occasion these are the things to check for.. Wheel balancing Alignment Tire condition Suspension condition (ie...ball joints, struts, ect....)
