  1. i don't care what u really care not for . he asked a question, and i was trying to give him a little of my personal opinion and insight to help him make a descision. because i have had several different sets of bulbs. thats what this forum is for. to help other LS. owners
  2. there is a world of differnce between the two, but i think silverstarts are the closest bulbs to hid, as far as looks go, some may say the piaas' are better. this topic has been discussed many times in here. i think there is a thread just on this very topic in the general forum on the main board. i had the plasma purple lights. but i thought they looked cheap, even though they weren't, they were like 80 bucks. but i switched to the silverstars and i really enjoy them. 40 bucks, and it only takes 10 mins to install. its a good cheap way to have a little headlight upgrade on ur ride, instead of paying for the pricy hid kits, and installation
  3. if u can't find em on lexus-parts.com then ebay is ur best bet. thought of anything else about the light??? i'll try the wd-40 to loosen it up, but i don't think that'll fix the problem
  4. wwest its simple?? can u elaborate a little?? thanks tan. but i do pull it 3-4 times but nothing i do will get the light off. the brake is all the way out but nothing seems to get the light off. also tan did u see the center caps i was talking about on that sight??
  5. hey guys. lately the emergency brake symbol on my dash is staying lit up when i drive, and when i take the e-brake off when i put it in gear the light stays on. and i make sure the e-brake is totally out. but it won't go off. any suggestions.
  6. i'm not sure if ur talking about the headlight bulbs or the fog light bulbs. if ur talking about the headlight bulbs, yes i would recomend the sylvania silverstars they shine very white and bright rather than yellowish color of stock bulbs. u can really tell the difference. and they also look a lot classier than the cheap looking blue bulbs u see on a lot of the ricers. they run about 45 dollars for 2 bulbs.

  8. thanks man i appreciate the advice. they have the stock sticky strip on them so i'll just measure em up and put them on. thanks
  9. ok, i was kinda wandering on how i was gonna do that this weekend. u suggest that i just grind of the studs and just use the sticky tape on the back?? i was just worrying that the tape alone wouldn't be strong enought to hold the badges on for a period of time. thanks for the advice.
  10. they didn't start putting the LS 400 badges on until '95, i have a '92 and i just got my LS 400 badge in yesterday, i purchased it off of ebay. the badge has 2 studs on each side with sticky tape. u have to drill a couple holes in the trunk to slide the studs in. u can also purchase the LS 400 badges at. www.lexus-parts.com i think they are around 50 some odd dollars, with like 8.50 shipping and handling
  11. if u go to www.lextreme.com, he has some sound and video feeds of the different exhaust modifications he's done along with some other members. there are extensive forums that address ur question on that website. i think he did a resonator delete mod that made the LS sound like hot rod, it was very interesting
  12. actually the cap says 5w-30 for a '92 LS, i use full synthetic penzoil, it seems to work great. u also can't go wrong with mobil 1
  13. there are many topics in this particular forum that discuss this problem. also in the workshop forum i think there is one too. there is a company that does that replacement. but i can't remember the name. but you can find it in this forum
  14. if you don't want to fool around with the hid kits and new harnesses and all that. just get the sylvania silverstars, they are probably the closest u can get to the hid look. they are a lot brighter and whiter than the stock bulbs. and i've tried some others like nokya artic whites, and they all just look cheap to me. the silverstars look very classy on a lex
