  1. You can always go on an Interstate and time your car at a set speed for say 10 miles of mile markers. That's pretty accurate.
  2. What color paint and decals? Black with white decals. Figure it might look like ghost decals floating in there. :D
  3. Anyone done diy yet? Is it a difficult diy? I had the dealer do it. It's not that expensive and the job is covered that way.
  4. If rotors aren't scored or warped I see no need to turn them.
  5. I'm inspired. Just ordered caliper stickers for mine.
  6. I buy all my filters from Irontoad. Usually 4 oil filters and drain plug gaskets (80 cents) and a cabin filter at one time. http://www.irontoad.com/Merchant2/merchant...de=2009is250rwd
  7. It fails because all these PDF's were copied and posted here. If you want links go to Lexus.com and sign up in the owner's section. You can view the files there and the links should work
  8. If a wheel is bent enough to cause vibration you can see it while it's turning on the balance machine. A further check would be a runout dial gauge check of that wheel/tire.
  9. Added this vid of Sand Mountain Rt 40 to the first post.
  10. On another run I met a city cop as I was doing 90 and just waved.
  11. Same road, different day. The guy in the white car seems to be a moron. That ride reminded me of cruising down the highway !!! :D :D :D That's the road I used to travel home from work. It was 6 miles in 9 minutes depending on if I caught the traffic light.
  12. Same road, different day. The guy in the white car seems to be a moron.
  13. If you have a 01 or 02 there is a divider that was std in the 03 models. Should be able to get that from Sewell Lexus. I had one for my 02
  14. May be some other bartkat vids of interest there. Up Rt 40 and back on Sand Mountain
  15. You can get an interior overlay kit in just about any pattern you want.
  16. You can get a quicker response by taking some of the slack out of the loop on the cable. I wouldn't advise though unless you are very careful in so doing.
  17. Unless you're a hella good driver and on a closed track you're always going to be courting danger at that speed in any car.
  18. They are reliable if properly maintained. That's what you need to find out on the car you are considering.
  19. I got a constant 25 MPG highway mileage out of my 02 Is300. It's geared to offset the lack of power. The RPM at 70 MPH is higher than any car I have driven in the last 10 years.
  20. As long as you're not racing a European BMW for top end, what difference does it make?
  21. Tires will tend to try to scoot a little at that angle. Mine push up some gravel in the driveway if I turn hard into the garage.
