You say it "still lags". Were you trying to improve the performance with the oil/plugs? Also, did you gap the plugs? yep still lags i change the transmission fluid ,spark plug ,oil and i also gap the plugs

I'm sorry to ask so many questions but I'm a new lexus owner i change the engine oil i used mobil one change the spark plugs used denso iridum and the car still lags when i press on the gas real hard i need some help any idea what else can it be.

how to change the spark plugs, the spark plug cables and do i have to remove the ignition coil when i do this. because i have no idea where the coil is.

well this is what it happens every time i stop on a red light or stop sign when i step on the gas slowly it responds good but when i step on the gas hard the car don't go no where it gives rpms. the cars responds when it hits 400 rpm or 500rmp. thats only when i step on the gas hard ,when i step on the gas slowly the car is fine.

i have a 2001 lexus is300 everything works fine when i drive it normal ,but when i step on the gas all the way down the car lags to respond and some times it won't respond at all some body can help me with this problem pleaseeeeeeeeeeee.
