  1. It sounds rather like the vehicle battery being slightly discharged and creating issues with the auxiliary electrics. Is the battery in good condition and fully charged?
  2. Lovely truck....mean looking truck and very capable for most tasks
  3. Absolutely correct! maybe worth looking at how quick it will launch from standing start....far more fun on a track 🙂
  4. I would advise not to wait, if in doubt, replace the belt and tensioners to avoid engine failure
  5. HaHa....that's the law according to Sod. Guaranteed to be a salesman at the other end once you've sprinted the length of the yard 🙂
  6. The liners are coated with a ceramic so tend to last forever.....unless someone hones them of course 😞
  7. 🙂 It seems like its rife nowadays but I used a call-blocker app which shows if its a spam caller by people adding to the database by reporting a dodgy caller....seems to work quite well
  8. I suppose if it is a hybrid then ensure that they have carried out a hybrid health check to make sure the batteries are in first class condition and capacity is not compromised by lack of use during any lockdown period. Otherwise, they are generally superb vehicles and you shouldn't have any problem as long as it also comes with a dealer and/or manufacturer warranty
  9. The quintessential luxury sedan gets a refresh. Join us on April 18 for the unveiling of the new 2022 Lexus ES 2022 ES Teaser.mp4
  10. Not sure I've seen one available to attach to the tow eye hole https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2380057.m570.l1313&_nkw=lexus+sc430+licence+plate+holder&_sacat=0
  11. 1993 car would more than likely not have traction control
  12. Not sure but the switch is only a switch as in it either works or it doesn't.....shame you can't just follow the lead from it down to inside the door and plug in an on/off switch to see if that activates the lock.
  13. Sometimes you have to go through a few items to finally nail the root cause. Thanks for sharing the outcome with us
  14. I can't see any reason why it shouldn't but would check serial numbers first and see how they compare
  15. I agree, more than likely some corrosion in the connections to cause all of the cylinders to go down at the same time
  16. Hi Joyce It depends on where the vehicle is driven...e.g. freeway or city driving as the hybrid system needs to regenerate to optimize the economy so this is a major consideration Here is a useful comparison between the two model versions https://www.lexusofseattle.com/compare-2020-lexus-rx-350-vs-2020-lexus-rx-450h-lynnwood-wa/#:~:text=One of the most significant, and it offers 295 horsepower.&text=In comparison%2C the 2020 Lexus, powertrain with a hybrid component.
  17. You should be able to disconnect the alarm siren but the system will still be active and flash the indicators/lights so maybe best to find the root cause of the issue. I would check all the door, hood and trunk switches to see that they are functioning correctly. Open each door in turn and see if the interior light illuminates and then goes out after a short period. If you encounter one that is not doing this then chances are that is the problem. Also, ensure that your vehicle battery is fully charged as a depleting battery can also cause this issue
