  1. All 4 tires wear the same. I generaly drive the car very easy (commuter). The car has 114000 miles on it. I run about 32 - 34 psi in the tires. The car is 100% stock it is not lowered. I watched them setup and check the alignment and that all looked OK. I'm thinking about taking to some other shop to have it double checked. The guy at the Lexus dealership said that when I bought the car with 17" wheels there was a letter that said that the tires may only last between 10 and 20 thousand. I have never seen any such document. Thanks Austin
  2. Ok. My last 2 sets of tires have worn out on the inside in less than twenty thousand miles. There is plenty of tread on the rest of the tire but the inside 1.5" is worn to the belt. I have had the car alignment checked 3 times at Lexus in the past 18 months and each time it has been right on spec. The tires are Dunlop SP5000. I rotate the tires every 5 to 8 thousand. Has anyone seen this or have any ideas? Thanks Austin
  3. Well your not alone I have a 98 GS400 and had the exact same problem with a set of Dunlop tires. I took the car to have it aligned and it was right with in spec. The tires only had 15 thousand miles. I got Dunlop involved via Discount tire and they replaced all the tires free. They said that it looked like a tire issue because it happend on all 4 tires. The bad news is that it looks like the next set of tires are doing the same thing. Let me know if you find a cause or resolution.
  4. I have a factory spoiler on my 98 GS400 and the LEDs have gone out. Lexus wants about $190 for the part. Do you have a detailed picture of the LED. I would love to see if that LED set would work. Thanks Austin
  5. I just found this. Looks great but if you want to use your factory CD changer I think that your still screwed. Follow the link below for more info. http://www.blitzsafe.com/blitz_news/news09...ews092002a.html
  6. I tried one and was disappointed. It just did not sound like a CD and for 10 bucks a month I just don't know.
  7. I have a 1998 GS400 with the NAK sound system. I want to install an XM radio but I don't want an FM modulated one. There is a company named Blitz that makes an adapter for the BMW systems. Is there anything like that for a Lexus. Thanks Austin
