  1. Look for black/yellow or black/orange, both of those are ignition.
  2. Did you do anything else besides swapping out the speakers?
  3. The CD's on Ebay are of poor quality. Try this instead, http://techinfo.lexus.com/. TIS is $10 for a 1 day subsciption and you'll be able to download everything that they have. It's just as good as the actual Lexus shop manuals.
  4. You have to pop off the plastic trim around the handle before you pull the panel off. It's a breakable piece so take your time and don't use too much force.
  5. Just go to Walmart and they should have a Scosche catalog that you could use to cross reference. It's not called a TA02 at Walmart...there's an extra number at the end of it....I thought it was TA028 but it might of been TA021. What do the plugs on your car look like? Take a pic of it.
  6. Remove all the visible screws and they should just "pop" off.
  7. Congratulations, that's a great deal. They go for about $8k.
  8. Hey, I went to Walmart earlier and picked up a few things for an install and I noticed that the TA02 harness is marked TA028 instead. It's the same harness as the one that SFX Audio has.
  9. The correct harness is (Scosche TA02). You might be able to find it at Walmart or you could order it online at http://www.sfxaudio.com/products/installse...GS300&Year=1994.

Do not have a repair manual is there a place I can get one for my truck? ← Try Ebay. You should check out what SKperformance said about the recall first though.
  11. They're right, let your ears tell you what sounds better. Are you asking about components or coaxials? Both are great speakers but I think the Kappa's highs are brighter...IMO. You should take a look at MB Quart components while you're at it. Go out speaker shopping someday and bring along a cd you're familiar with, set all the settings on the display HU to flat and pop in your cd...let your ears determine what's best for you. How much do you have to spend? If you're on a budget then just spend as much money as you can on your front stage and use coaxials for the back as fill. Are you going to have a sub?
  12. Get an automotive stethoscope to help you find out where the squeak is coming from. It's similar to the one that the doctor uses to listen to your heartbeat. You could find one for about $15.
  13. ArmyofOne is right, why would you want to reuse an old part? It would be like using compressed air to blow the dirt out of your filthy air filter to reuse it. If you want to go with OEM parts....Park Place Lexus has a Toyota PCV valve for $7.48, and a Toyota fuel filter for $27.42. No tax and shipping if you order online.
  14. Search Ebay, you could find a new OEM set for about $90.
  15. Oh, no hotwires. It's the same as an LS.
  16. For the amp just locate the amp and take a look at the color of the wires. Did you cut your vehicles wiring harness or do you have a plug?
  17. Switch it to LP Set the knob between 80hz to 100hz Turn (+0, +6, +12) to +0
  18. Yes, you could get it at a dealership, or you could just order it online and do it yourself because it's fairly easy. Try http://www.trademotion.com/partlocator/ind...m?siteid=213808 http://www.rockauto.com/ http://www.irontoad.com/ I'm not sure how long it'll take on your car but when I did it to mines (LS400), it took me 2 minutes for the PCV and 5 minutes for the fuel filter. The shop will probally charge you $20 to install the fuel filter but I don't know how much the PCV will cost you.
  19. An extremely dirty air filter will cause an increase in CO because there will be a lack of O2 to help oxidize the CO into CO2. You're right jgr7, the EPA doesn't give a shtt. Performance is somewhat compromised because they are trying to meet emission regulations. They have to juggle to keep NOx, HC and CO down and this leads to a slightly less efficient engine (performance wise). If they were able to have it however they wanted, you would see high NOx and high CO in most of our vehicles. They would also just vent all the gases to the atmosphere, instead of directing it back into the combustion process.

A repair manual right? If you do then start testing all related parts.
  21. Try cleaning it first like OCNLVR suggested above. If cleaning it doesn't help then you could try Tap Recycling or Ebay for a used unit : http://taprecycling.com/ What is the exact code that you are getting?
  22. Flush the power steering fluid, change the PCV valve and fuel filter. If your budget allows you then swap out the spark plug wires, distributor cap and rotor. Otherwise, you're on the right track.
