  1. Any LOC member PERIOD. ;) :)
  2. If the road is wet, the splashes can totally block ur rear windshield view (because vans/SUVS have a almost vertical rear windshield,) . This happens especially when driving on the freeway. ;)
  3. Moved to LX470 forum
  4. Happy Birthday SK AND DCFISH! ;) :D
  5. hey i snagged a few more photos of ur LS SK! I checked on CL and here they are (dunno if you've seen them): http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/lilvietsolja...jpg&.src=ph http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/lilvietsolja...jpg&.src=ph http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/lilvietsolja...jpg&.src=ph http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/lilvietsolja...jpg&.src=ph http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/lilvietsolja...jpg&.src=ph http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/lilvietsolja...jpg&.src=ph http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/lilvietsolja...jpg&.src=ph http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/lilvietsolja...jpg&.src=ph http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/lilvietsolja...jpg&.src=ph http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/lilvietsolja...jpg&.src=ph http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/lilvietsolja...jpg&.src=ph http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/lilvietsolja...jpg&.src=ph http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/lilvietsolja...jpg&.src=ph http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/lilvietsolja...jpg&.src=ph http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/lilvietsolja...jpg&.src=ph
  6. Well you can only imagine if Toyota released this same driveshaft TSB to the V8 4Runners (which I hear a lot of those guys in the 4R forum are complaining about). ;)
  7. Damn SK! Looks great! I especially like those rims. Never seen your rims that much. :whistles: :D Btw, Seems like a Benz C-class got lost (I saw it in one of your pictures, behind your LS) lol :P
  8. You're talking about CRT(Cathode Ray Tubes) TV's. It's true what you said, but all the new type sets are different in this respect.......they all have some delay before the audio and video comes on. I had a 17" Sony Trinitron TV in the 1970's which came on immediately...both picture & sound. :) Like I said before, these new sets have too much electronic switching to be able to come on immediately, but maybe in the future, they will. Yea that's true. My grandma (somewhere) has one of the first colored Sony TVs and once you switch that bad boy on, the picture and sound come on instantly. But i think the smaller 13" tvs turn on instantly (at least in our house it does) but bigger ones take time. We have an old 97 27" Sony Trinitron and I remember that thing always took "forever" to turn on. I was always *BLEEP*ed back then that I was missing parts of my shows because it took so long to turn on. But i think our Plasma doesnt take that long to "boot" up IMHO. ;)
  9. Try the rims of a LTD 06 4Runner. You are going to have to get new tires though, but they look good.
  10. nice. Now make ur LS work and haul all ur stuffs into the house. lol. ;)
  11. I'm sorry leefromNJ, but I'm going to have to remove this. If your status is New Club Member then you are not allowed to post anything for sale anywhere at LOC. You must make a contribution to the forums before you can post your vehicle for sale. When you have made enough posts, your status will change, and you will be allowed to post your f/s vehicle. You must post your vehicle f/s in the "Buy and Sell" forum. This has become necessary due to the number of people registering purely to sell, and not contributing to our community
  12. It should. Most of the 06s already had the new driveshaft and the TSB came out when Lexus discovered it in the 06s. ;)
  13. I think its only that Plasma that "burns in" because thats what people told me last year when we were looking for a new TV. They said LCD wont do this but I ended up going with a Plasma. Im thinking, 4 or 5 years down the road, Id be getting somehow another tv so just go with the plasma. Besides, those Sony LCDs cost an arm and leg but they are really nice. I like our Panasonic Viera Plasma. So far no "burn in" yet. :whistles:
  14. Ok . Never mind. I knew where it came from. I backed the ody out one day (half way out of the garage) to get something, and it must have leaked while it temporarily stayed there. So the front of the vehicle was in the back of the garage, which makes sense because that's where i saw the oil. Geez, this ody needs some attention!
  15. I have just completed sorting out the LX470 and LX450 stuffs. If you guys find a topic that is placed in the wrong forum, feel free to message me so I can correct the problem. Hope everyone can now easily find answers to their questions regarding their specific vehicle. If anyone has any questions or concerns, message me anytime. Thanks Denny (denslexusgx470)
  16. If all points are not included it will be assumed you are being vague to defraud a member which will not be tolterated, the thread will be removed with no further explination. So please do it right the first time. New members cannot post any for sale items. Do not post a for sale item in another forum to bypass the filter as you will be warned/banned and the thread removed. The only way to post a new a for sale thread being a new member is to become a gold member .This is done so that you can support the club which you would choose to use to sell your items. It is a full circle deal, you help the club the club helps you. All posts in the buy and sell section MUST!!! 1. post a location of the seller 2. have an asking price 3. state if new or used( then how old ) 4. receipt from original purchase, including where it was purchased 5. your name ( should be no problem if you would like someones money in exchange ) 6. Shipping, if it is included or not and how much to areas 7. NO EBAY LINKS. If you have an eBay auction it will cost you to have a link placed on the LOC to receive more dedicated Lexus owners traffic to your auction. You are selling it on eBay to make as much as you can ,not to help a fellow Lexus owner getting a part. 8,THIS IS A MUST, NO BUMPING OR MOVING THE THREAD UP,unless you change the price or something is sold to add or remove from the thread. You bump and it WILL be locked. things to keep in mind is : If you are selling tires, state the tires size speed rating ,model+ make and name of company who makes them eg. 225/40 18 z toyo proxes t1-s also a $2 tread depth gauge would also be good to state the true actual thread depth, as everyone says it has 80% left If selling rims state the size width offset and curb damage and what car it was on. If selling a product that is model specific ,please do not double post it in the buy and sell section and then the model forum section , the rest will be deleted . please state if you have a pay pal account and it is is verified as well , if you do. If you are a new member to the LOC and are trying to sell something please be as specific as possible to every detail possible of the product. As this forum is not a buy and sell for business with free advertising. If it is felt you are a business the post will be deleted and you will have 48 hours to respond . this information is to protect the members of the "LOC" if you do not agree with protecting anyone's interests besides yourself, then please do not post If you are a business please contact myself or another team moderator /admin for detail on opening an advertising account this goes for group buys as well they must be ok'd first by the club before being posted thank you
  17. Mercedes is trying to experiment with the car market. I mean if they can make a 4 door out of a coupe (CLS ) then a top-down S wouldn't be too bad. ;)
  18. purpose is I presume would be to prevent spamming even if you have accumulated hundreds or thousands of posts. It's just the rules. It's like rules on the road. We have them to prevent accidents. ;)
  19. Looks nice. What's the size?
  20. moved to detailing forum as you may get more answers there because this topic doesn't just concern the GX. ;)
  21. He's correct. It's coming out as a 2009. Spy photos, not yet available. <_<
  22. I'm sorry. Rules say that you can't sell anything in this forum if you have a New Club Member status. We are just preventing possible spamming and we want people to contribute information to this site and not use it as free advertising and disappear after selling the product.
  23. I never realized how many threads there are in this forum. It will take me about a couple days to completely separate LX450 and LX470 threads. Bear with me as it does look a little messy right now. It might be best that you check the main forum, LX470, and LX450 forum if you are searching for something in a specific model as I accidentally moved some LX450 stuffs into the LX470 forum. Thank You.
  24. Hey Guys, This is your forum moderator. I'm in the process of sorting out the LX470 and LX450 stuffs into their appropriate forums. So if you have trouble finding certain topics, please check both the main forum, and the model forum (LX450 forum or LX470 forum). Thank you for your cooperation. If you have any concerns, comments, complaints, or suggestions, feel free to PM me anytime. Denny (denslexusgx470) :)
