well i hope having a Gx counts here, I use 87 octane, and i get roughly 15 mpg in town, and 18 mpg when in the freeway.

btw, it was said that the problem came from the rear left brakes, i think. :o

has any other gx470 owner here have any brake leak, uh, brake fluid leak, i think, was what my dealer found when i had my 20k checkup.

michelin cross terrains are the best. mine, at 20k, has about 10/32 left, and the original was 11/32! i was a bit surprised when my service advisor yesterday told me that! only thing, brakes are going fast! i'm more than half way done! :chairshot:

but even though they paid the whole price, or a down payment, isn't it still possible to back out and get ur money back??

yea, but it would suck for those who are just gonna put their name on the list for an rx400h. :chairshot: although i have a hunch that a lot of those people will back out, sometime, somehow!

i guess it depends on 3 things: 1. the brand and type of tire, 2. the weight of the vehicle, i guess?? and 3. the way the car is used.

wow, i didn't know that some dealers use a blade to remove the sticker! my dealer just pealed off the sticker and used amonia to clean it up.

hmmm, so the replacement seemed to work only for the temperature gauge? maybe imma go have my temperature gauge repaired there, since i now know where it is and that you didn't have any squeaks or rattles after having yours done. :D

yeah, we are all really hoping that Lexus will make sure they've got Japan quality, where ever they place up a new plant outside of Japan. hope they won't be like Honda's quality when Honda first introduced the Odyssey in canada, oh boy, quality really sucked compared to the older first gen odyssey. ;)

yeah, i agree with you all the way bro! i love those Michelin Cross Terrains! good thing my Gx came with Cross Terrains, instead of the Dunlop Grandtreks, or the Bridgestone Dueler. ;)

very true, i'm that kind of guy that if there's gonna be more power and/or more features in the upcoming model, i'd wait, especially if it's only a few months away. ;)

I agree with the "Country Club" wise-crack. Hybrids don't save money. Maybe they save gas. Think about this: my RX330 reports an average of 24mpg. It will be driven about 15k miles per year. That's 625 gallons of gas. At $2/gal regular, it's about $1,250/yr for gas. Assuming you drive your car for 10years, that's about $12,500. So what if a hybrid will cut gas consumption to 50%. That's still $6,250 in gas saved. Now consider this: hybrids are going at a premium above asking. You've already blown the gas savings at that point. When it's time to replace the batteries, you're further into negative territory. If money were not an object, I would buy the RX400h too. It's a cool car. But I still know I'm not saving money. If gas hits $5/gal within the next 10 years, then I'll concede to the 'saving gas' argument. I want the 400h so I can laugh every time I am sitting in slow bumper to bumper traffic with my engine off and my electric motors hummin. man, everytime i read this thread, I can't wait for those hybrids to go on the bigger suvs! lol ;)

that's not true becuz some gx owners did it to their gx470s and had no problem with it and were very happy that they had it installed. ;)
