  1. although some of our songs are not bad though... :whistles:
  2. well, I duno! I don't even sing the music in church (even though if u do, they say u pray twice). Nice question though! Even i duno! :cries:
  3. Lx450/Rx300, i'd say Rx300, chances are that there will be less probs with it. and gas wise, LX is a gas hussler! ;)
  4. Another Another Another Another Another There are more but you can read them yourself at http://www.autobytel.com/content/research/...n/Posts/fid/148 My point? You can find a group of people dissatisfied with almost anything. It would appear that even the great Grand Cherokee is not beyond reproach. As for your dillema DKRC I'd actually look at an LX450. Based off the Land Cruiser it is beyond tested to last for ages and ages. Much beefier than the RX. ← OMG! :o Jeep's out of my list now! :chairshot:
  5. i heard (but haven't done it) you can have ur dealer check for free if ur GX is leveled and not leaning. ;)
  6. :o the rear is kinda for me.... :whistles:
  7. I have the stainless steel exhaust tip. http://www.lexus.com/models/gx/accessories.html My price was $45 at Magnussen Lexus parts department. ← huh? when i was at ur dealer, i asked about it, said they were $80!
  8. Could that have just been the specific brand of regular that you tried that may have been substandard? I can't think of a reason why it would make a difference if you switched back and forth. I havn't tried 87 octane regular yet, but have noticed no difference between 92 octane prem, and 89 octane mid grade. How many others have tried experimenting with different grades of gas, and with what results? ← well, we can consider it like this, consider coming from earning , oh maybe $1m a year, then downgrading to 500k a year, well it's hard to adjust, so i guess it's the same thing for cars. (just an example!) ;) especially that previous car of mine was used to premium for the first 80k, then moved to ca, downgraded to 87 from 92, had an engine ping!
  9. Did your thump manifest itself right away when the vehicle was new, or did it take some miles for it to show up? ← for me, around 5k when it came out. OH MAN! I barely put 100 miles on the 3rd fix, still here! What do i do???? <_< :chairshot: :chairshot: :chairshot: :chairshot: :chairshot: is it possible to consider my gx a "lemon" with this problem?? 3 tries, and still not fixed
  10. lol. i remember that thread. i couldn't help stop laughing about the part of the service guy saying that it's "Just an Optical Illusion" . :whistles:
  11. well, so far so good. :whistles: (like the first 2 tries). It's just line #8 that bugs me. :chairshot:
  12. Ok i broguht in my Gx a couple days ago to have the thump fixed, at the 3rd try. Now here is what they did (according to the service write-up they printed out) 1.Customer States Then Brakes Are Applied and Then Released There is a Clunk/Thump 2. Customer Roadtested with Tech 3. Possible Part of Axle Making Noise 4. Confirmed Customer's Concern and Found Updated Driveshaft 5. Installed But Splines were not Lapped and Vent Hole not installed 6. Lapped Splines and Drilled Vent Holes as Per Updated 7. Counter Measure Repair Per Lexus 8. Roadtested and Ok AT THIS TIME - (?????) That's what they all said. Now i'm getting frustrated with line #8, hmmmm,..... <_<
  13. hmm strange, contradictory to everyone's complaint of the seats not warming up..
  14. i think the underhood light is for problematic cars that people always have to work under the hood. :)
  15. hey i didn't notice this thread. well welcome to LOC 1SICKLEX! U seem to be familiar, hmmmm. :whistles: Denny- hint:Rx900

For more information visit http://techinfo.toyota.com/
  17. weird how they don't make it available to the LX470, when the LX is more expensive than the GX!
  18. u won't regret it, cuz i don't trust Land Rover... ;)
  19. we should have a mechanics forum here to ask questions about problems us Lexus owners are experiencing!
  20. thanx, but i think that service is unavailable to the Fresno, California , 559 area though.. <_< <_<
  21. i think the base stereo is really good for any Lexus. even though it's only a Pioneer, it really sounds good!
  22. Gary, please read the Forum Guidelines - top right hand corner. The number one rule around here is be polite, and personal attacks against Steve (or any another member) like this will never be tolerated. Also, please try to keep to the discussion topic. I cannot see what the RX transmission (good or bad) has to do with the car stereo. ← i agree :whistles:
  23. i guess that's the way they want the heated seats for the Gx. yeah i noticed the difference this morning in the loaner 330 (gx in shop for clunk problem) and i had the switch half way, my a** was getting toasted!!
  24. i only like the center dash interior. the rest, :whistles: :whistles:
