I'm hoping none of those problems crop up in my vehicle. I test drove two different ones at the dealership and noticed none of them, but you never know. My hope is that Lexus took the initiative to correct those troubles in the later model year production. well i wish u luck bro! Hope that urs won't have any probs. ;) it could be that my Gx was one of the first built, but on the other hand I'm hearing complaints from 04 gx owners. I hope ur's won't have any (since you won't notice any of em till after 1k miles)

how about bad experiences??? :cries: 1. thump "clunk" 2. vibration 3. creaking seats 4. claddings rattle 5. kdss possible leaning(04s) oh btw, 05's get a 270 hp engine, improved kdss, bluetooth integrated into nav, and some other options. i'll post em up when i get the time. ;)

so i'm guessing ur mileage is less than 1k. :whistles: well i can remember my first fill-up, that sweet 9 mpg! :o lol. my mpg right now, is roughly 14-15 city, 18-20 highway. wait for ur gx to get older in mileage, mpg will improve. that's what happened to mine.

yeah i noticed that too when I got my loaner rx330 last week. But at least the ones on the console and door look real, and at least it's "wood" unlike the pix i saw of the rx400h, it's all replaced with silver! :chairshot: steering wheel looks ugly without the wood! :P

I think it was in, Hollywood Homicide, that I saw a Gx in. It's really hard to see it, but it's on the part where they're at the cop station parking lot, there's a Dorado Gold Gx in the background. hehe, weird I saw it, even though it was far away!! :P

i did all the 15k stuff, except the tire rotation. i duno how much i paid cuz i still used my Lexus credit. :P

i believe the Gx470s built in december 04 will have the 05 changes, if i'm not mistaken. if we're lucky, maybe the units that come out in december MIGHT have the changes, check with ur dealer about that. ;)

well my main thing is: long thread life, good handling, and quiet. good news though, jst had my 20k checkup, dealer told me i still have 10/32 on my Michelin Cross Terrains! they said the original is 11/32 so i'm still good! I'm sticking with Michelin forever! (comparing the fact that my gx has 10/32 left at 20k with Michelin Cross Terrains, when my Rx300 had more than half way done at 25k, which only had Goodyear Integrity)

my friend jst got a 01 ls430, with 51k on it. anything that he should be aware of at this point?
