  1. Try the film first . It is easy to put on and remove as well as it protects your fogs from chips and cracks.
  2. Bumping is a waste of time. This section is not a fast moving one so bumping is pointless. If you have something important to add then do so . Useless bumps for that reason are not permitted. If no one wants what you are selling for it being overpriced or not interested then bumping will have no positive effect except moving others posts further down. The rule has now been explained to you as you seemed to have missed them posted at the top of the forum. Please read the rest of them.
  3. I added some visors from Japan which i ordered. They ended up costing almost $300 and they ended up having the front passenger side cracked in the corner. I am waiting to get a replacement as they where shipped not as well as they should have been to protect them. I could not wait to get them on and only found out it was broken when i pulled the doublesided tape away from it and saw it flex by the chrome strip. I also got some coat hangers that sit on the headrest supports. I have one the right way and the other upside down as they sit lower. I am going to try and make it so it sits lower as it looks better.Oh yah you can see the curtains slightly also. I also have a Junction produce FUSA hanging from my mirror which i won from Lex fest . I am hoping to receive my other prize from Junction produce who is supposed to mail to me but they have not emailed me back.
  4. If you have a cold air intake then you don't need a heatsheild !

  6. No clue on the plugs. Replacing the ground is a great thing to do atleast every 5 years if it snows. The thermostat runs cooler by increasing the pressure of the coolant. Make sure you have a strong engine and headgasket before adding the extra strain . It is minimal added pressure but still more in an old engine.
  7. Just don"t use a fork style breaker as it will destory the boot.
  8. Synthetic being magnetic that is a load.
  9. You could have confirmed the light on start up to see if it lit up.
  10. It is not offensive. It is meant to keep a single point or topic in one thread. Do you find that YOUR sunroof drains are different that other members? Are they located in different spots or cleaned with something more specific than every other LS? When you post in a topic that is already started it adds to the information that the specific thread has . Who wants to (yourself included) search through 12 threads looking for the one that explains everything. Rather it is much easier to read one thread that has many questions answered . Otherwise you have to look through every sunroof thread just because someone wanted their own thread . BTW it has been covered how to access the rear drains. It is the same as every other Lexus with a sunroof.
  11. As stated on the first page there is nothing listed for your car.
  12. It is pretty much useless for a modern car with tight clearances. It basically is an oil thickener and can cause foam. Moved to the general maintenance section.
  13. It is good to clean it every so often as the piping has oil buildup from the return line.
  14. It will be no problem at all it is just a blend now. How long till your next oil change?
  15. Post in the other previous 3-4 threads in the past week or so as there is valuable info in them when read completely.
  16. WOW this is the kind of question some one with very little maturity would ask. If i get this right you want to know how to make your engine explode before it is ready so you can drive faster or make more noise ???? You have a straight 6 it is made by design not to go high into the rpm's as it would snap the crank. In all seriousness you need to replace the internals to be able to have a higher redline. Which is why it is caused redline for being the last possible chance of maintaining the motor at that level.
  17. PIAA bulbs are higher priced but seem to have amazing output for $100 and last. Silverstars are ok and can easily be replaced by CT when they blow.
  18. Camry mirrors don't even fold if they matched i probably would have told you that a long time ago. Stop trying to be cheap and get the proper mirror.
  19. You turn on your rear defroster which activates them.
  20. The glass is heated meaning there is a heating element behind the glass. So $50 is cheap if not the wrong price.
  21. $50 is nothing for a heated mirror . Try getting one for my car it is $400 for the mirror or $700 for the whole housing.
  22. Get a PDR paintless dent removal guy to fix the dents first then have a detailer fill the scratches and wetsand and buff it down properly.
  23. Look for the other post a few days ago about the drain problems.
  24. It is impossible to remove a knock sensor without removing the manifold. You can skip removing it is you are taking the back plugs out.
