  1. Battery tenders are old school ( no offense as i have one) I have a version of the cteck from Canadian tire and it is amazing. It reads the battery and checks to see if it is sulfated on the lead plates and will emit large pulse charges to remove the sulphur on the plates that reduce charging capabilities. It also tests the alternator and shows the battery in volts and percentage of it maximum charge level on a digital display.
  2. no offense taken
  3. You got water in the wrong spot , always have the engine running when hosing it down.
  4. http://www.planetsoarer.com
  5. http://www.ctek.com find one of these they are the best chargers ever.
  6. Seafoam is great but should be used carefully as it can dry out rubber.
  7. There are more possiblities than what i wrote some 4 years ago of rims and tire sizing. I know that is the only one i know of to confirm that fits with no rubbing. 225 and a 8inch width with a 19 should even work.
  8. It is in there just very vaguely described previously.
  9. Nothing to do with a taillight ground , try replacing the battery wires and terminals to the body and engine . Did you get a new alternator or just put a new regulator in? So does it have the old coil and brushes?
  10. Actually all of those are part of the SRS recorder , it stored all the above info since 97
  11. I have only seen the newer cars that come with chrome/brushed metal step plates/sills. That one is for the IS which is also available for the newer one with backlighting that glows blue at night.
  12. LMAO You being a complete moron/Jackass doesn't help you either but you still seem to be able to function. I asked you to read the link i have as it is for threads such as this one with absolutely no information that helps answer anything. One cannot even conceive what the question is without having 12 more questions. Stop being an asss about it and conceive that you made a poorly written post. What do you have on the car what are you trying to accomplish how much you want to spend and how able are you to DIY a project. All questions that should have been provided with your post but you seem to smart for that.
  13. If you are saying it is not dependent on the srs to activate a trigger , then what would it use to stop collecting data ?Other wise all you need to do is idle the vehicle long enough to clear the last information stored after a crash. I am going by memory for the 20 second window as that is more than needed to retrace a vehicles steps leading up to a crash.
  14. Read my sig link for new and old members.
  15. Keep at least 2 cans of PB blaster handy for rusty bolts and a torch for some added heat with a breaker bar.
  16. I got my first rock chip on my front bumper , it was quite a hard impact and actually made a slight gouge in the bumper. I'll use touch up paint later to fill it up. Otherwise the front bumper looks great after 20 000km from Orlando-Atlanta-Toronto roads. I definitely love this stuff.
  17. Closing threads is not what this club is about ,you guys should know that. Stick with some facts and not ego's though guys. thanks BTW i have NGK iridium's and they don't do a think for feeling a difference. Probably go back to a nice copper plug as they wear faster but my engine is easy to change. I'll also throw this in general maintenance as it has little to do with a specific engine but the "BEST" plug.
  18. Meet this Wednesday at 8pm then drive across the street to Casey's at 9 for 2for1 appetizers at the bar.
  19. No need to censor it , i only offered because you asked.
  20. If you read my previous post it is all vehicles since 97 not 04 that have a data recorder.
  21. send me a pm with your number and i'll give you a shout. I am in Scarborough tonight if you want.
  22. dei sells a starter bypass for remote starting only.
  23. Whta would you like the title to be and i'll change it for you.
