  1. You can buy relay systems for HID's . They use only 1 relay and use the original bulb socket to turn them on with an adapter. You can buy a premade one on ebay and other online HID sites.
  2. Does the 350 not come with LED's from the factory?
  3. Where i am i have atleast 7 Lexus dealers within 30 miles so i have never factored in the driving issue which does make some sense. If driving is an issue though why not order them on line buying them in bulk? That way they are always ready for an oil change. I have yet to see an aftermarket filter with a good crimped rolled edges not adhesive as well as proper ball spring anti flow back valve. OEM is the way to go for the price alone.Getting the filter to work comparable is easy the problem is when the low quality filter papers breakdown or loose there adhesion because of a glue instead of a mechanical crimp holding them together. Poor flow back valves cause more dry start instances which is where most engine where occurs.
  4. You are looking at the books and asking us if we know where they are from or who makes them? If you posted pics them it might help. Vibration can be a number of things and rotors have been covered too many times to repeat again. Read the red link in my sig "new and old members please read"
  5. That is a German styled Phillips ballast with an external ignitor.
  6. Sounds like a harness is disconnected. Other wise you pressed the fan or temp button which caused it to cycle through its checks but not show a failure.
  7. How do you beat a value of $15 for 3 OEM Toyota filters? I just don't see why anyone would be cheap on a filter as it is an integral piece of the motor. It just does not make any sense to buy a nice car and use a part that saves $1?????????????
  8. Lenore i don't think it is fair to make such judgmental comments. In 90% of issues they step up to the plate which is more than any other car maker. There is always 3 sides to a story and who are we to assume we are getting the full picture in this thread? Such as what the mileage is ,did i miss it? Is the car frequently started and turned off such as moving it on a driveway or idled for long period of times such as in NYC traffic. Another issue could be it is never pushed hard enough to break any carbon down but make it build up. Always 3 sides ,you can't assume you know them all.
  9. Who told you that the computer does not recognize the bulb? What bulbs and from where? Why did you replace them? Read the red link in my sig "new and old members"
  10. Fram and puro filters are crap . Get the OEM ones it is only $5 ! My oil changes are $100 for motul oil alone but well worth the increase in gas milage.
  11. Send the screen through Canada post and it should be cheap .Make sure it is returned in a package stating that it is a return repair and not a new unit. Hood struts are about $60 for the pair on eBay. If your sub cracks ad want a ipod then replace the whole thing it is easier and cheaper to upgrade. Need a carbon cleaning as well as all major tune up parts done first.
  12. So your retro kit on a teg is blown from an unkown year IS?
  13. Tuned they stick out which is why they look odd. Not because it is dual it looks weird just the overall look of sticking out as well as being too far away from the bumper so it looks as though they are floating in mid air. BTW Lexus does coat the rotors. The rust you see is the brake dust embedding itself from heat into the coating and the brake dust shows the rust not the rotors.
  14. It is usually under the drivers steering wheel or behind a coin holder or fuse cover.
  15. If they said it was the gas and you proved you do not use lower octane then they should stand by the car and replace it or fix it for once. I have yet to hear of such an odd story where they did not try and get a master tech out to figure out the issue and resolve it.
  16. You need to run the power wire ,no way around that. You don't need a remote turn on or converter if you use a 500/1. You would need to try out the boxes to see if a High Output box will fit under the parcel shelf. I have no clue.
  17. There are a few types and they all fit the thread. The problem comes with the LS having a larger shift knob in height. The GS and ES have a shorter one the height differences are the height of the chrome trim under the shifter.
  18. The rear of the seat cushion will not go up and down, right? I would look at the seat motor then the switch.
  19. You need to remove the air filter shroud intake. Then use the bar to release the tensioner , slip it off around the fan and reverse to install . Real easy other than it not having a simple bolt hole to remove the tensioner.
  20. Subscribe to this thread as i will try to update it and you will get an email reminder sent for the meets.
  21. Go to the transport Canada website for a full list of all importing issues and costs. Anyway you put it buying a car in the U.S. is 20-30% cheaper for the exact same one. Or look for a business that just deals with buying the car you want and importing it.
  22. So what is the name of the Internet dealer and the owner of that site in case he reappears as a new site looking to swindle more people?
  23. I think it is a turtle wax product. It leaves no residues on anything and is supposed to look wet. http://www.icepolish.com/
