  5. yup all toyotas have a slightly loud click when the brake is pressed when the car is in park and the engine is running. It is just the shift lock solenoid releasing
  6. no experiance with one on a es other toyota owners have said it was a waste but i don't have any facts to back it up either way just hearsay which is worthless to mention.

  12. If you have a tremble it is more than liekly the bolt is frozen and the rotors is warped the caliper is not being able to float like it is designed ince one bolt is stuck this will also cause uneven wear on the pads and squealing
  13. I thought the heated one was before the cat I have a scanner but it is obd 2 not one like your cars If you run too rich too long you can burn up your cats and get horrible fuel economy the light will go waway with no power but it fixes nothing you might as well put a peice of black tape over the dash light, so you don;t see it
  14. no the fuel injector one will cause a backup not a relief of pressure. changing the fuel filter is almost never needed unless it has a problem you can't trace otehrwise. It is larger than most cars and hardly gets changed but by dealers who what to add to the bill.
  15. Do the other gears work like neutral and park?
  16. You got a few problems You can buy the oem manuals from lexus and they are worth al the $300 for the 3 ,more detail than you will ever need to make your own repairs. ebay has some also ,most are phototcopies but for the price who cares.
  17. those mae's are the one i have in my book similar but not like that. i guess i thought they were german since they are made mainly for german cars like lorinsor and brabus.
  18. You will have to heat it up .is the bolt part of the slider on the caliper assembly or the ones that hold the bracket to the hub? It is more than likely someone who changed brakes didn;t know to remove all slider pins/bolts then clean and lubricate them before reasembly. Difference bettween a technition and a mechanic. Have a word with sam's club about the over tightening ,they should have special sockets which are used with an impact gun but flex when a torque setting of a socket is reached.
  19. sorry they are called crescendo prism's mae makes them also in a one peice called the mono block and a 3 pcs called the racing 3p i was sure wald also makes them in black with gold rivets which look amazing on a german car.

  23. They shouldn;t make any noise or get worn at all . How odd. Are you sure it isn;t something rubbing the rotor and hub ?
