  1. I have a 03' SC430 and I'm hearing that noise 1 month after I bought the car from the dealer. The dealer mechanics told me that it is the sound of ABS, but I've never heard any sound to my previous older Lexus. It's annoying having to hear that when the car is only 40K miles. Can anyone please help and provide some insights? I"m so upset now and thinking about taking the car to multiple Lexus dealers. Thanks
  2. SK: I have tried Ebay, but no luck in finding a code reader for Obd1 terminal... Can u provide some places where I can get it? thanks a lot.
  3. Thanks TurboGS: So does that mean all sensors are easily replacible? Even the sub-sensor that comes after the Catalytic converter? What is an alternative place to find the O2 sensors..I can't find it in Ebay...:"( Plz Helpppppppppppppppp!! Thanks.
  4. Thanks SKP!! U are right...I do have a "obd 1" on my 93....:"( BTW, are those scanners expensive? Well...I guess that means I have to pay for the job rather than getting the part and do it myself? The sub O2 sensor, is it difficult to replace? Thanks once again.
  5. My 93 GS300 has check Engine light on for the 2nd time in 3 months after the Front Right O2 sensor (closes to headlight) was replaced. Please help me: 1. Code 28. Which is the "Main Heated O2 Sensor Circuit" error code. Is this the one that is located after the catalytic converter? I was told by the shop (not dealer) that the rear one is faulty. Could it be a simple sensor defect or other intake issues? 2. For you gentlemen who are able to read the error codes, do you actually have the code reader/scanner? 3. If I don't replace the O2 sensor soon, will it bring me a bigger problem? A car shop quoted me $275 to get it done. But the dealer told me the sub sensor is even easier to replace than the front ones. 4. Will disconnecting the batter make the Check Engine light go away? Please help! Thank you all so much. jason0865@yahoo.com
