  1. sorry ,i guess you misunderstood me. i was saying those are the most wanted parts and their max respective prices i don;t need any of them
  2. take them to a tire shop and get them spun to make sure they are even in balance and not bent before wasting time repairing them
  3. you may have engine wear which gets quiet as oil finally feeds the worn parts
  4. i wouldn;t say it was different if it wasn;t their is nothing on a 1st gen that is the same on a 2nd gen except maybe an oil filter and "L"'s
  5. headlights $200 tranny$300 cluster $150 radio and cdchanger $350 are the wanted items
  6. I guess it all depends on if you have one or not as well as a company that invests R&D into their products I have made 7 designs of mine changing mulitple parts to get the best possible dyno power. I have improved gas milage as little if anyone can get 600km out of a tank of gas in their ES still carrying an extra few hundred pounds of crap around. read the faq for details on good and bad
  7. but giving the benefit of the doubt, i would certianly like to think that this particular owner didnt let his oil level get too low, or over-rev his/her motor. ← don't really know anything about the owner or the car
  8. sniff ,sniff why don;t i get anything but the damn magazine
  9. costs about 450 to get your wheel redone in matching wood
  10. high RPM's cause burnt bearings and channels sludge is for the head assembly as it blocks the upper channels where it has tiny jets Sludge is a possibility but a small one for the bottom end enless it blocked the oil pump which would have turned on the low oil pressure light
  11. you also have a first gen so that is a totally different answer. So it bear no affect on a 94 ES that he has
  12. now that is an amazing thought since their is no hockey now anyway lmao
  13. btw synthetic oil is a synthetic way of filtering the sluid it is not an additive but synthetic oils usually get better quality additives. Synthetic oil is basically a process to remove waxes and other build ups that are not wanted or needed in the oil basically a higher level of filtration, so i have no clue what a synthetic additive that is in the toyota fluid could be as they have synthtic blends which is a waste of time
  14. changing the belt is an easy fix only uses one bolt to adjust on the alternator bracket to loosen it then slip off and on ,all done in 15 minutes with the one ratchet
  15. i could sell you my old one from my 94 give me a resonable offer forgot to add i changed every bulb in the head unit about 6 months before i removed it
  16. newest dealers are richmond hill the one in brampton and erin park opened a new lexus onl;y building one of them might be more interested in giving a better price over all
  17. most dealers use valvoline i would just buy the valvoline from walmart
  18. 300 is dirt cheap for a basic job. It needs prep work to sand it down as it being ureathane it needs to have a good amount of flex agent to bend with the panel and not crack off. Second for a good job you need to remove the panels from the car which means taking the insed panels off to loosen the hanger bolts. $300 is the pricce for labour of removal and prep another 350 for paint and 300 for paint application. 700 is a good price anything less and you get what you pay for which includes snading marks ,paint runs, masking lines, fisheyes ,dust in paint ,and the best is insufficent priming and painting causing the finish to flake and chip off with ease of any stone chip
  19. using an oem jack on the rails is perfect as it is notched in the head to hodl tight it would work best if you can make a notched base for your jack to push up on
  20. get a can of rust cheak the red stuff jack the car up and spray the can in every suspension compnent and arm possible this includes all sway bar link which may be your problem
  21. i have had mobil 1 and is part of the cause for tranny failure after flushing the system with amsoil it got way better to the part of full grip of all clutches under shifting which was my only problem
  22. i think bartkat is joking ( i hope) with the soap their is only one belt for all pulleys you need to adjust the bolt on the alternator to remove some slack but if it never used to slip and is now it probably is worn and needs replacing.
