  1. If my memory serves me right...I believe that from 98'-00' (maybe 97') the bushings can be replaced. Anything older you have to replace the arm or find a really patient mechanic that will spend the time to take them out!!!!
  2. I currently have three cars and the boss (you know who I mean) told me one of them has to go sad.gif ...So after many days of debate, it looks like the SC400 has to go. It's a 1998 SC400 with 78K miles in a rare factory Baroque Red Metallic with tan interior. The car is absolutely in mint condition. I have invested about 4-5K in small mods over the past 5 years. I have kept all OEM parts that I have upgraded and they will go with the car. I am the second owner and when I bought the car it was bone stock. The timing belt was also just done at 74K. Please PM me if interested. biggrin.gif

  4. I believe that the 98' V8's and up are interference engines...That is when Lexus bumped the hp to 290 with VVTI...which therefore made them an interference engine... To my knowledge the V8's from 97' to 92' were non-interference engines...
  5. HMMMM, and I just came HERE from THERE! :D TT springs are roughly 1.3" lower ← Thanks...
  6. Thanks for the reply... :D Did you get the B6 for the SC or Supra?...What damper setting number have you been riding on most of the time?...
  7. Ahhhh...I think I am going to go to Club Lexus Forum...Seems to be more active people on that website that respond to questions... :D
  8. Thanks for your reply...I am leaning towards Supra TT or NA OEM springs with Tokico Illumina shocks...or maybe go all out and get Zeal coilovers... Problem is I cannot find anybody that has installed the Zeals on our cars (SC300/400) that has left any feedback...I think one person did and loved them...I think I am going to try other Lexus forums and see what I can find...doens't seem to be much here!!
  9. Does anybody know how much (if any) Supra TT springs will lower a SC400?... Has anybody put Supra TT springs on a SC400 with KYB or Tokico adjustable shocks?....Thanks Also, if I have a 98 SC400 should I buy 98 Supra springs or does it really matter?...
  10. Hey guys... I am looking to upgrade my shocks on my SC400 but keep the OEM springs...I need your opinions on the KYB GR2 and Tokico HP's paired with OEM springs... I do not do any track racing...but I do like a tight firm handling street ride...but I do not want to lose to much of the comfortable LEXUS OEM ride... I guess I am wondering which of the two will give a firmer OEM feel with better perfomace on cornering and handling at higher speeds... Thanks
  11. Hey I was wondering if you guys had any more problems with your Eibach springs?... Did you install the SC400 or the Supra springs?...I was just wondering if the Supra springs were the ones having the problems... Overall how do you like the Eibach springs?...I am currently trying to decide if I want to go with the Eibach springs and Tokico HP Shocks or just get coilvers...Thanks
