  4. I laid out my stock exhaust on the ground. After the 2 cats to the 1 cat and the 2 resig. There were no o2 sensor holes? Last I remember seeing the 2 o2 sensors before the 2 factory cats. And that's it! Damm that's alot of two's! and yes forgot to add have on the last post.
  5. Do you part # and cost? or best place to purchase? more like cheapest, I know cheap and Lexus don't go together! ;)
  6. Which one is it? I know there's 4 of them.
  7. You should twin turbo it, 2 turbos ,2intercoolers- you can get from junk yard, maybe from eclipes or talon, isusu many choices, 2 air filters and lots of piping, tap into your existing exhaust and of course ecu. Run low boost like 6-8 psi and probably at around 350hp . Any more boost you better look into injectors and fuel pump and internal mods. Built correctly this engine can handle well over 1000 hp levels. Or single turbo,1 large front mount intercooler,1 air filter, cross over exhaust to create single setup tap it into dual or elminate one exhaust, and creat a new 3-4 inch exhaust system. my 2 cents, and a few other mods will probably be needed.
  8. I ran against my buddies, 2005 Roush Mustang rated at 300 hp stock with my 93 SC400. My Mods-factory cai mod with k&n filter replacement ,removed mid section cat and 2 resignators, replaced it with 2.25 piping with xpipe and back to stock mufflers. Out of the hole he barley get me against his 5 speed, but at 40 mph roll I take him mid range and top end . We only went up to 80 because of traffic. I thought he would destroy me, but that wasn't the case. And of course because of this outcome, he just ordered a 500 hp blower kit for his car <_<
  9. Feels like it pulls better mid and top end. You could add a connecting funnel of some sort to the front of the bumper. And finish it completely. I'll probably do that, something from home depot should work. First pic- how it sits in car 2nd pic-looking thru front bumper grill after install. 3rd pic-there are 2 tabs at the end, you'll need to remove to fit in there properly. After you flip it over and shove this piece back into the air box, screw in 2 scews on top since you have to remove tabs that use to hold this piece in place. Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics. Warning- one of the bolts you need to remove is a ***** to reach, best tool for this is a 10mm ratchet rench or remove headlight and it'll be alot easier to get to. Try it can't hurt anything.
  10. Economy ram air. Cutt tabs at end and flip over. Parts needed- 2 small wood screws and wire cutters to cutt tabs.
  11. I found this, good find. http://www.lexusgonewild.com/videos.shtml
  12. Is it possible to splice into the turn signal power wire, and another constant souce of light , like side parking light and put in a 30 amp fuse in the middle? I wouldn't change the bulb wattage, but I would replace it with a Hilite replacement bulb to match my headlights. I look at mordern cars and they tend to spread there beams out , like our turn beam.
  13. No skin off my nose, I'm not trying to sell the things - just letting people know what my experience has been. Although, to be honest, I don't see much of a difference in brightness in the hi-lites, just a big difference in color. Some additional pics ... sluggo ← Well if you look at my pics again you will notice a bigger diameter with the hilite, which mean it packs more juice. Equals brighter light. Even the pattern on the garage spreads out a little more than the stock light. I don't work for them or any affiliation, but the price ,the write up in a respectable magazine and all the positive reviews, I'm sold. My SC400 now looks like the sample cars that are pictured on ebay. If these burn out within 10 months, I might try those out too see the difference.
