What bulb do you take for your fogs? $20 bulbs will not do anything unless they are silverstars otherwise get HIR's for $60 or get hid's for 300 but you want the lowest possible K value to make them more yellow not white or you will see nothing in any real fog or rain.

Got to agree mulitple warping rotors is from massive amounts of heat transfer with no where to go. It is all about how the vehicle is driven, so vehicles are subject to more heat and will warp easier. I only have high speed wobble on my cars from light rain warping so unless i get to about 180km i don't feel it at all. I usually never have to change my rotors just pads but i change pads on my wifes lighter car every year and rotors every other.

Every year is all dependent on the condition of the car and how much it is used in the winter. Also on what type of corrosion protection it has. If you spray the car well every month underneath in the winter at a power washer it should be ok.

Now if you need a code read there are a few ways. 1. go to NAPA, autozone , PEPboys , jiffy lube ,mr. lube or anotehr local parts store .Most of them will always give you a free quick scan if asked to get the codes. 2.buy a code reader ever car since 97 until now use OBD2 compliant scanners.So every car you own can benifit from this tool which can save you headache by knowing what is happening and getting proper advice on here about its repair or to make sure you mechanic is not ripping you off.To me the last part is worth its weight in gold and any obd2 scanner can be bought as they are all exactly the same kind of like spoons, they look slightly different but serve the same purpose no matter what. Another option is to get a peripheral link if you have a handheld computer or laptop which can scan the codes as well and some will also data log some of the parameters to give more defined info. 3.Go to the dealer and get it read ,some do it for free. 4.I am not a fan of shorting pins and openly am telling you not to do it,but at your own risk here is the info to take a paperclip and the dash CEL will flash to correspond. The easiest thing in the world is to run the Vin with the DMV and go ask the old owner. They don't care anymore abouts its problems as they sold it already. 18 000 for a good condition LS is ridiculously low if you find it snag it but there is probably a few expensive problems. Lots of dealers get other make trade ins all the time. If they don;t sell them in about 2 months they ship them off to wholesale auctions like Adessa which are located across north America.

That key is not from a 93 lexus but a newer one. You can get used keys from ebay and dremel off the plastic holding it and slide it back up out the shell and just reinsert your pre cut one and transponder in.

TL and MDX have the same accord platform tranny and both have an amazing amount of failures. The RX has tranny to look at and make sure it has fluid changes as well as good insurance to get an inline filter. Only other thing is to have a motorvac every year or so to clean the carbon in the intake especially .
