  1. Awesome bbsal, nothing like working for yourself huh? Chris, I'm thinking of taking on a comissioned salesperson sometime after the first of the year, we might want to have a chat sometime. We have our differences, but you're confident and have integrity ;)
  2. Looks great pal, I really like your car. Really sharp and clean.
  3. Polymetric Resin, polymer? ;) I'll check it out...
  4. Someone with an older model ES300 will know for sure (the 02 and up have framed windows), but I think any body shop can quickly align the windows for a reasonable cost.
  5. The Potenzas are really crappy tires. Also what PSI are the tires inflated to?
  6. They're probably dried water spots like you said. Have you tried a good glass cleaner. You can also try a mixture of vinegar and water. Or even toothpaste in a pinch to polish it out.
  7. I'm not speaking of what I do not know, I've been a hobbyist detailer for a long time. All those snake oil "never have to wax you can burn acid on the paint" deals are just that, snake oils. There are plenty of them out there, they tried to charge me $500 for it when I bought my Lexus. They can't do anything to your car you can't do with a bottle of Klasse and a microfiber towel. Notice they said "Not a wax or silicon polish" Right, my first guess is its a polymer. Like Klasse, Zaino, Blackfire, Poorboys... They're not "a wax or silicon polish" It never says the Diamond Gloss isn't a polymer. You put it on the car, its gone in 9 months tops. There's no way it can guard against swirl marks. Products like Klasse can, only because you build up such a layer of it that it scratches and not the paint. The key word is "proprietary technology". I did go to the website... If it works for you, thats great Whats so different about it?
  8. Gold class is a decent product to do that with too. Nobody's really sure what it is, a wax, a sealant, or both.
  9. Make sure the caliper slide pins are good and lubricated, one of the calipers is either sticking and not compressing fully, or one is compressing too far.
  10. Don't blame ya, debate's over now anyways ;)
  11. Any LS wheel from any year will fit on your 92 with no problems.
  12. Sounds totally reasonable to me, I just go by what I've been told over the years.
  13. I own my own small time marketing company. We do gift programs, promotional products, customer retention programs for car dealerships etc.
  14. Well, a Lexus is one of the quietest cars on earth, but no car is silent, that wouldn't be safe. You can hear whats going on outside the car, its just sounds muffled and far off. As for the wind rush at the windows, its possible that the glass needs to be aligned. Closing the doors by the windows does push the glass out of alignment causing noise. As for the vibration, that doesn't sound normal to me, we'll need to get some second opinions on that.
  15. I laughed till I stopped ;)
  16. I wouldn't know. To have the Lexus dealer do it, $4000 or so? Maybe more. Thats IF you could find a Lexus dealer that would do it.
  17. No, it wont change the results. The polish and swirl remover steps are about the application. Those products are designed to do work on the paint, and then be washed off. Anything that would stay is an oil or filler, and you dont want those under the sealant anyway.
  18. Sure, 93 is the best bet, thats what we have here. I have always been told, by multiple sources though that running premium fuel when the manual calls for regular speeds up carbon deposits, worsens fuel economy etc.
  19. Wow blake, it looks awesome. Glad I could help you out. Money well spent you agree? Nothing ruins a nice clean interior like a nasty wheel.
  20. Yeah I'm real happy with mine, I see no reason to trade up. Maybe with the freshening in 05, or I'll just wait for that LS I want.
  21. Send them an email and ask for one!
  22. By all means Piggy, you're input is welcome. Every time I think we're done, I've "done something wrong" again worthy of a public blasting. It'll settle down when it settles down I guess. I'm as sick of it as you are.
  23. LOL, I'm not going to tear anyone a new one! I'm not a monster lol. See, technically the information that I posted from AutoSpies isn't a stat, its a projection. Nobody has independently tested or even seen the car yet, and the possibility is definately there that the info AutoSpies has is bad. Generally I never trusted them before because of all the photoshoppied pictures and stuff on their site, but they had a similar list about the new Ls430 (pictures were way off) and they were 100% correct. So I'm somewhat confident that their info about the ES330 is right too. See, you can still believe! lol.
