  1. Unfortunately you'll have to replace the bumper cover...
  2. LOL, beats me...
  3. I saw that magazine on ebay, check it out they might still have it up there. I think its Pioneer too...
  4. First off, no disrespect intended, but you have no right to ask us to provide you with financial statements on how we run our site. Walk into any business and ask them that, they will laugh you right out the door. If you are worried about where the money goes, then don't buy anything from the site, or better yet, leave. I'm sorry but that is extremely and intolerably rude. This is not your site in any way shape or form, and you have no right to demand a fiscal statement. I can't even believe you'd be arrogant enough to even make that statement. I am in utter shock... Now that my fury has settled... This site isn't free to run, and trust me when I tell you that we (those who run it) dont make any money off of it. We do it purely for the enjoyment. In fact, the site operates at a loss meaning that it costs people like Matt McNally and Steve money for it to exist. They do this as a service to Lexus owners, so that they can have a place to belong. We are currently the fastest growing lexus site on the net. If projections hold true, we're going to have over 15,000 members within the next year for sure. Do you have any idea how much money it will cost to run? I certainly could not afford to pay for it, the site is going to have to (at least mostly) pay for itself. How do we do that? We dont allow others to capitalize off what we work and pay to build. Its right there in the rules. We have vendors and sponsors on this site, and we're about to indroduce MANY more in a vast upgrade. These people support the site financially, and they have passed a painstaking process to make sure they're good enough to sell you products. We do this for the Lexus community, for FREE. If you want the site to grow and become better than it is, then we're going to have to get the money to make those upgrades from somewhere. This site hardly operates, or will ever operate at a profit. Yes this is a club, but your membership is FREE Chris. If you had paid something for it then you'd have some sort of iota to base your request on, you have nothing.
  5. Unfortunately there arent any mudflaps availiable for the 02 and up ES. This was discussed a while back and if I remember correctly that was the conclusion. I do agree that the way the body is designed it kicks a lot of dirt.
  6. Please do let me know...
  7. We don't, but its not something thats moderate-able. She didnt break any rules...
  8. Its just that the portion you used it on is unwaxed. Not an emergency situation, but you should rewax.
  9. Welcome to the site! Run a search and look around the forum here, lots of info on the ES330 and we have a couple members with them. I feel that mine has more then enough power, but thats me. You have to drive the car to know for sure if its enough for you.
  10. If they could they would. Lets face it, from a statistical point of view, being black or being hispanic raises the probability that you will be involved in dangerous or illegal activity. Thats a fact, a statistical fact. Look in a prison and compare the white innmates to the black and/or the hispanic innmates, there are less whites. This is because of the conditions in our cities and school systems that systematically opress these people not something inherant in them, but it is statistically true nonetheless. The fact is, thats how insurance works and its all about risks. Whatever your position in any facet of life changes the % that you will be involved in an accident. Certain people are more stable, certain people are more stressed and hurried, certain people are younger, certain people are older. The insurance companies have paid a fortune to know the information that they took into account when they devised their system of underwriting. Mama's absolutley right, all those things make a difference. Now, whether you feel its right to use the information that she's posted here is up to you. If you feel its wrong, and that its fair for the insurance company to use this information to wind up consting you more thats up to you. However, theres nothing wrong with posting the info. Myself, I'm a businessperson and I'm an ethical one. I believe that when one deals with a business and does it in an ethical way, it improves the state of business for all of us, so I wont take advantage of this information. Its a decision we all need to make for ourselves though.
  11. I just used it for the first time too, isn't it awesome? Not as good as SMR or DACP by machine, but better then anything by hand! Its a diminishing abrasive that is designed for hand use, nothing else on the market is. With other things you're always using something by hand that was designed for a machine.
  12. Glad you found it Piggy! Chris, yeah the loaded Crown is about 40k equivelent and the loaded Celsior is about $70k equivielent US dollars (of course they're priced in Yen). I had always heard what you stated, the Crown was the pinnacle of luxury in Japan, I was surprised. The Crown and the Windom are almost the same price...
  13. Some dealers wont do it, but theres nothing wrong with having the service done at Toyota.
  14. I can't find them ANYWHERE here, but if you order them from Europe they're $60 or so a pair. What brand are the ones you bought?
  15. I usually use clay...
  16. LOL, I know a guy that does that. Don't joke!
  17. I've read a lot of DIY articles, mostly from BMW people...
  18. I'd much rather spend the $300 now, then spend $450 (including a tow) down the road. What if it happens on a hot summer day with your 90 year old grandmother in the car? Or what if it happens when you have to pee? Just not worth it ;)
  19. Sounds good LOL
  20. Its a question of interest. Toyota doesnt build anything that lots of people wouldn't want. Thats why they dont do cars like the V12 sedans or coupes, they're low volume and that makes Toyota nervous. Japan is a technological culture, all the new gizmos come out there way before they come out here. And actually, the % of the market that spends that kind of money on their cars is really, really small. As small as 1 or 2%.
  21. See, I would have told her and said "It is better". ;)
  22. LOL! I'll make you some more and send them to you, how's that sound? We'll each keep making them and sending them to each other until they're perfect. When they're perfect we can sell them, Steve and Steve's perfect Silver bulbs. My name's first! ;)
  23. Looks great!
  24. All the damage is underneath... Sorry to hear about your wife, thats no fun at all... Get those suckers good! Make the lawyers earn their third.
