  1. It bugs me too.
  2. The fluid should be checked while the engine is running, at least thats what I've always been told.
  3. Very common problem, its the intermediate steering shaft. I had mine done, but my extended warranty covered it.

Deer are weird, completely unpredictable... lol RF
  5. 40 volume is REALLY loud...
  6. I do agree that at 35k miles the car being out of alignment is not anybody's fault. 35k miles is excellent life for tires on a car like the IS in the first place, and in that time I'm sure the alignment could be knocked out. Yeah thats a good one lol. I never let shops like that do alignments, it always comes out worse than it went in. I had an alignment shop tell me it was normal for the steering wheel to sit crooked too.
  7. HAHAHA, thats a great story

No, the bumper will come unpainted, it'll have to be primed and painted. The truck is new enough, IMHO its worth it to take it to a body shop to be repaired. You'll be sure its done right, and you'll be sure to maintain the vehicle's value. That repair will cost you $500.
  9. Only 1 model year different...but its an all new model. Your argument doesn't make any sense...
  10. The Lexus site alluded that they will...
  11. Anyone seen one of the '08 Pebble Beach editions? Doesn't look like much is different, an exterior color and different color wheels: http://www.lexus.com/models/ES/pebble_beac...tion/index.html
  12. I would not prefer the RWD in the snow. However, thats the only scenario I wouldn't prefer RWD in. I don't need to read the tests, I've done the tests myself. The VSC and TRAC are excellent, but they don't make up for the difference between RWD and FWD in the snow on all season tires, at least not on a Lexus.
  13. I've never turned in a Lexus, but the other lease cars I've turned in this is indeed how it works...
  14. I COMPLETELY disagree. Has anyone else here driven a RWD Lexus with VSC and TRAC in the snow extensively AND driven a FWD Lexus with VSC and TRAC in the snow? I have, the FWD Lexus is much easier to get up to speed and drive around.
  15. The car "settles"? Thats the dumbest thing I've ever heard...
  16. The green is a nice color, but it doesn't look right on the LS for some reason. Looks great on the GS. Just because it has it on the website doesn't mean Lexus ships them that way...
  17. I don't believe newer LS cars have this button.
  18. RWD is just a more balanced drive, you can tell the difference. Sure, FWD might be better in the snow...but I'd take RWD anyday.
  19. The UL was extremely rare in the 07 on the east coast. They're more common now. If I bought one it would only be with the UL package...
  20. I bought my Lexus brand new at the age of 21...almost 22 ;)
  21. This is why I really dislike Zaino as a brand. Theres this cult mentality to it, and they cloak the process in all this dubious mystery with cotton towels and dawn washes etc which is needless BS. Zaino is an okay product, but there are many other great products out there too.
  22. Yep, PDR is the only way to go. Dry ice wont hurt the paint, but it doesn't work. PDR will fix it 100%
  23. Why? Technology gets cheaper as time goes forward. How can you say these things since you've never driven a new Murano by your own admission?
  24. The new replacement tires will last longer. The issue is the tires, not the car
  25. The new STS is RWD, but the Seville (STS) was FWD for a very long time before that. RWD is the better drivetrain, no question. In the snow most drivers will feel more secure in a FWD car than a RWD car on allseasons or summer tires, but a RWD car with snow tires will be superior. One thing I really don't like about my ES is that its FWD.
