1993 LS400 Are there any like those for 1990-1994? Anywhere.......?

OH YEAH. Never thought about that. Well, I guess this is the end of this project then!

I have a 1993. Maybe she put the cd's facing up. the labels are suppose to face down. Maybe this caused the problem. Try pressing the button for about 30 sec. If all fails I guess I would just try to take the cover off with a screw driver and see if cartilage comes out, before taking it apart myself "I'm not an Electrician or even close"

When I get out to go to school. I go around 35mph for about 1.5miles. But when I get out of school's parking lot in the afternoon I have to get up to 45mph.

I want to get extra wood trim. It came with some around the switches of all four doors, around the gear and an flip out ash tray. This is what I'm talking about: Extra wood trim Thank you.

The starting time; maybe how many miles your car has determines how long you shoud wait before driving of in the morning or the first time you start your car in a day? my 1993 LS400 has 146,000. I wait about 10 min. in cold weather when it is about 30C to 60C, went with what people had told me!

Hey, Welcome to LOC Josh. I just bought my first Lexus too. A 1993 LS400 146,000miles, only drove it 30miles since I bought it. When I read your post it reminded me of my Lexus. My Lexus had most of the same problems like yours. And they fell into the same two categories, "Known Squawks and surprises." I'm also the third owner of it too. I also have the climate control/time LCD blacked out. AN EARLIER POST. Here is one of the problems that you have, that I had when I bought my car. I'm not 100% sure if the problem is cured because after the I had it fixed it snowed and I never drove it. But my dad drove it and he said that it has imporved, he took it up to 90mph, thats when the car vibrated alot after the balancing and roation before it did that at 65mph. How many miles does your car have?

sorry, that I replied late. Yes, the seat memory switch works properly without having the key in the ignition switch.

I just bought my 1993 LS400 and when I turn on my headlights the indicator in the instrument panel comes up that symbolized brun out brake lights, which I don't think I have any burned. Thanks to 1990LS400 my worries about that is gone, and I hope its a loose connection in the trailer light wiring harness like 1990LS400 had. Thank you.

Lexus integrated phone I have a 1993 LS400 (don’t know much about it) There is a phone jack in the passenger side. Maybe there was a phone in the car, or maybe there is one in every Lexus. The reason why I started this topic was because I wanted to know if anyone knows a website where I can get a used Lexus Telephone, “there are pretty hot” and in the driver side sun visor there is a little square speaker that is hooked on there, what is that? If there was a phone in the car shouldn’t there be an antenna on the upper middle back windshield. Thank you. I couldn’t find answer to these questions in my owner’s manual or anywhere else of that matter.

The front personal light in the center upfornt. If you set it on "Door" it should turn on and off depending on if the doors are opened or not. Well this is my story if I set it on "Door" it turns on and stays on even when all the doors are tightly closed. So, this can show that the rubber door switches need to be gressed. But, the light under neath each door that lights up when that particular door is uponed. That light shuts down when the door is closed. This is what I tried. I put the center personal light on "Door" and uponed the driver sides door. Then I pressed in the rubber switch with my hand the light on the door stopped lighting but the center personal light was still on. So, the rubber switch works. I guess???????? Kind of confusing!

Just the door indictor. The seat belt light comes on but goes off later, even when the driver is not wearing the belt. These are the lights behind the tachometer from "left to right" 1. Low oil pressure warning light 2. Discharge warning light (battery) 3. Open door warning light 4. Brake system warning light (handbrake) 5. Seat belt reminder light 6. SRS warning light

Thank you for those links. They were very helpfull. I just bought my car and the owner gave me to chip keys like these. Chip keys But the bad thing about them is the black plastic holders are bad. I'm thinking that I should look around in the junk yard or something or those chip keys are stick my metal part in them. As well as the chip. "Don't Know How That Is Going To Work." So, I have to buy new keys for $331. If I want that remote technology. AND if I just want a duplicate that is going to cost me $34. THAT IS B.S. When I first purchase this car I was happy as a clown. But as days go by.........that would be 8 days.....something new comes up. I'm scared and hoping that, that day don't come in my life, where I have to regret that I bought this car.

I have two master keys for my 1993 LS400. They are transponder keys and the top black plastic pieces is broken so they cannot be place into a key chain. What do you suggest it do? Buy a a whole new computer or transpoder? or What? I'm new to these kind of keys and nobody that I know has them. Thank you. Any suggestion will help.

Four door thats what my ONLY objective is too, to get a new black plastic part for the key. I'll let you know how it works out. I wanted to get it from a dealer though, not this website.

So, you are telling me that this key has the chip in it. And I just need to buy it and when it come, reprogram it???

Will this key work with my 1993 LS400. 1. Is it possible to take my metal part out of the old one and stick it in to this one? 2. Does this key have to capablity to hold a chip. If so, can I take my chip out of the old key and put it in to this one. Click here to see the key.
