  6. Oh well, I told my parents and they don't care. So, I don't neither. Because I want a Gen. 2. Well with that, I hope the engine dies. BTW: It has 147,000 miles on it as of now.
  7. WELL, a day too late!!!!!!!!!!! My brother just took the car to Atlanta, Ga for 2 months and drove more than 300 miles today on the highway. We live in NC. Thanks for the response.
  8. We can only give you our broad opinions. In order for us to give you an accurate price tell us the book value as an guide in pricing. Check the book value of private party and retail at www.kellybluebook.com. Provide us more information with pictures. If so, then what things have been replaced or repaired [very easy to find out if done by the Lexus dealership].
  9. If you had two specific cars of each and have all of the information on them. Then maybe the comparsion could be a little accurate with some personal opinions & perferences.
  10. Yeah. I like both silver and gold both in different ways. There are just certain colors of colors that gold looks good in and same for the silver. We have a white Camry with gold emblems which match with the stripes. Now, the LS color, Silver Taupe, would not look good with gold emblems. If you put things on the car you have to coordinate it with the rest of the car.
  11. If you go to a Lexus dealer for regular maintance that $8k will be lost in a sec. Find a good, realiable, not to expensive mechanic and get the things done from them. And, go to the Lexus dealer if nobody can help you out. 123k is nothing for a Lexus or even any other good import. (talking about Acura, Honda, & Toyota)
  12. Nobody said that someone is going to buy a Lexus only based on the 0-60 times. You assumed that.......There is a lot more involved then just speed. Realibility, performace, looks, etc..the list can go on forever.
  13. There are few post about a sound called "clunking"!......?
  14. You need this my friend: http://www.lexuscarcare.com/inf-glass.html
  15. You got pictures of them? What is the exact product you used, #'s...?
  16. Things to tell if the car was really "Garage kept" 1. The paint [usually the roof & top of the trunk] is weathering, or fading out [not chipping off] and faded so much that it has turned white from some places. This will usually happen in one circle then the circle grows. I'll be more than happy to show examples. 2. The leather is deteriating from places that are not used. For instants, the top back of the back seat [near the speakers] you will see hard wrinkles or if worse colonies of cracks. Also, look under the car and observe it so see any rust. Always inspect the muffler to see a whole or rust. Ask a person to press the gas pedal all the way down and in the back the muffler should throw out a lot of Air [don't put your face or nose front of it, or you are going to get smacked by air or some hot oil might splatter out. If it doesn't then mostly likely the pipes some where are damaged. For example: I was checking a 1994 Honda Accord with 14,xxx miles last year. Owned by a very old lady since 1994. For $9k, got sold for 8,800. Anyways, the muffler had a real big whole in the bottom, if I was serious I would have taken it to a mechanic and had it lifted to see for further rust. But everything else was brand new, except for some scratches. I also didn't buy the car, because I don't drive a lot. So, 14k miles was not that important to me. I was looking for a car for show [high school] it was a 1994, nobody is going to know how many miles it has on it and that I paid $9k and not $3-4k. This works great the other way around, buy a new model with high miles; are you going to know how many miles it has on it? NO.
  17. RX300: Gross Weight: 4950 lbs. 2004 RX330: Gross Weight: 5245 lbs. 1998-2004 LX470: Gross Weight: 6860 lbs. 2003 GX 470: Gross Weight: 6100 lbs.
  18. I noticed that on our Camry, the strips don't stop in the back fender but rather go all the way around the trunk and meet with the other side. Making a "U" shape. I don't like it that much, but it matches with the gold emblem. I would get the windows tinted slighty darker also; so, there is only grey and silver on the car. 'Or are they already?'
  19. Well, since you can proof the $2k worth of repairs and some other repairs that you have done; the price is good. Delete most of your comments in your ad. Just mentioned some of the stuff on the car that is included in the price. Not, your histroy with it or your opinion on "How great it is."
  20. Sorry to hear about the accident. Important thing is that nobody got hurt, things can be replaced. Maybe you can buy some stuff from here [u.S] and get it shipped up there!
  21. You might run into electrical or other related problems that are going to be caused by aging. I wouldn't worry too much about these things though. But, the engine and everything else should be in excellent condition. For $7,000 people here [High Point, NC area] in put 91,92,93 LSs for sale with over 170k miles. Good price. If I was the seller the price would have been in 5 figures.
  22. Nice ride Blake . Yeah, let your parents see and test drive the car. After my dad looked at it and test drove it, he was all over it and gave a $200 deposit right away. Either that or he was just glad to see me happy, that I found my second dream car after my brother stole the Legend away from me.:chairshot: And, now he is taking my Lex, that is super fudge. :chairshot: But thats OK, if he puts one scratch on it, I'm buying another one that will look exaclty like Blakes. :chairshot: Gen. 2 Black with tan interior.
