  1. the stock Supra TT calipers are the best price/performance brake kit for the GS. The calipers fit bold-on, and also the Supra rotors fit. I don't have any doubt that the braking performance will be at least as good as the Rotora 4pot, but I am not sure how well they are handling 400 rwhp. I personally would go for AP 6pot if you are going to 400 rwhp, rather than the Rotora.
  2. there are Aristo TT that have their restrictors removed and can go easily faster than 180kph. The no of speed is not critical. Many cars used to have 4speed A/T but run easily over 200+ kph.
  3. I think the normal Supra TT (which are 4pot) will be in the same league as the Rotora 4pot. If you already have the Supra TT calipers and want a significant improvement I would either go for the TRD Monoblock or 6pot calipers (like AP).
  4. A pic of the OEM Toyota Chrome taillight rings I borrowed this nice pic from the gallery from V8_Aristo :P .
  5. I have seen the ebay ones. The OEM rear chrome trims for the 98 - 00 are different compared to the ones on ebay, which are more for the 01+ taillights. I have a used set of chrome trims avail and can sell them to you. Please pm me if you are interested in the old trims. The front are prob the same. Let me check the pricing and come back to you.
  6. I have driven some Aristo TT, and did not feel a lot of difference in terms of comfort compared to the GS300. I suspect since the JDM Aristo's are restricted to a max speed of 180kph and the huge torque of the JZS161 engine, Toyota probably thought that a 4-speed A/T would be more than sufficient.
  7. probably you can get it cheaper than $1200, but those are not OEM JDM taillights, and are either handmade or custommade. These definitely will cost more than the OEM taillights. OEM JDM taillights have the amber part. I order the taillights directly from Toyota Japan using the part no for the Aristo, so I know what I am talking about.
  8. I can get you some. The taillights trim rings are OEM Toyota. Toyota does not sell the headlight trim rings, so these are from another supplier. Also tell me what year your car is (e.g. do you have the 98 - 00 taillights, or the 01+ taillights).
  9. By the way, i also answered a similar question in the GB taillight tread
  10. OEM Aristo taillight (as from Japan) the OEM Aristo taillights look like these. The ones without the Amber are not marketed by Toyota or Lexus, but by Junction Produce. The OEM Aristo taillights (look the same as the Lexus US taillights) are approx $320 a set, the JP taillights are about $1200 a set.
  11. JDM/ OEM Toyota Aristo New Style taillight This is a pic of a car that have the OEM Toyota Aristo taillight fitted. It looks the same as the GS new style taillights
  12. If there is enough interest, I can start a GB on the DS-Racing grille. Not sure what the exact cost will be, I estimated something like $240 - 280 for the unpainted grille including shipping. DS-R also sells a carbon fiber grille. I asked them to send me some pics and some pricing.
  13. It's a DS-Racing grille. It comes in Carbon Fiber or fiberglass.
  14. This is an aftermarket airbag. Aristo's in Japan are Toyota's, so the logo on the steering wheel is a Toyota logo.
  15. The taillights I sell are OEM Toyota Aristo parts. But these look exactly the same as the US new-style taillights. The once you are talking about (the ones without the amber part) are custom-made taillights by a Japanese aftermarket company. They will cost USD1000 - 1200 a set. No worth it in my humble opinion.
  16. Recently one of my business friends introduced me to a new brand DS-Racing. One of my friends bought their grilles. It very nice. He took out the mesh that comes with it.
  17. Lowering springs and stiffer shocks will give some improvement, since the car is dropped. However, for the best results for less body roll I would recommend you to upgrade to TRD sways and to get the Tom's front and rear LCB (Lower Chassis Brace).
  18. These steering ECU are supposed to be OEM Toyota/Lexus parts. I believe that the latest model years already have it installed.
  19. You can go for a rear lip spoiler that can be fitted using 3M doublesided tape and/or some glue :) would look nice!
  20. You can take out your spare tire and replace it with tire repair foam.
  21. I have used Axxis Deluxe Plus pads that yielded very good results (low dust and low/no noise).
  22. Most of these vendors buy blank rotors and are doing the cross drilling and slotting inhouse. Not sure what blank rotors this company is buying. However, I have seen prices for front rotors for about $130, so this is price is not impossible. Perhaps you should ask around if somebody knows this R1concepts company. Another thing is that C/D rotors are prune to crack. Especially if the C/D process was not done well. Some companies just drill holes, without consideration if this would weaken the rotor.
  23. The Falken azenis ST115 are excellent tires, but will wear very fast. So if you are doing a lot of miles per month, then I would opt for other brands. I have the Yokohama ES100, which are also cheap, and have a good treadwear. However, these are very noisy. I heard good things about the Sumitomo tires. In fact Sumitomo, Dunlop and Goodyear all belong to the same group.
  24. you could try to contact JPI, who is one of the sponsors. :)
  25. It is made of PU, which is plastic and does not break like fiberglass. I do not like it. It looks like an add-on kit. By the way, I have seen this kit using many different names, like Vizage, Blossom, ... Their Camry and IS300 bodykit, however, are nice.
